Alicia was outside in the courtyard with everyone. She was talking to Beth, smiling and laughing. When a gunshot was heard, she whipped her head around, seeing Axel fall to the ground.
She pulled out her gun, stepping in front of Beth. They all looked around, trying to figure out where the shot came from. "Shit." She muttered.
More shots started to be fired. Most were at Rick who was standing on the bridge. Alicia grabbed Beth and Carl running with them to a small set of bleachers a few feet away.
She fired a few round herself, trying to get a clear shot of one of the men who were shooting. "I can't see! Carl can you?" She asked.
"No!" He sighed. "There's not a clear path!"
"Damn it."
The gunfire continued. Alicia moved her small group to stand behind a wall, giving them more coverage.
Both sides continued to fire rounds, hoping to hit the opposing people. She held her breath as the gunfire finally stopped, looking around for a second.
"Beth!" Maggie ran out, handing a gun to Beth.
"Oh fuck." The gunfire started again. They continued fighting, and it seemed like it went on forever.
Suddenly the gunfire stopped, and they watched as a truck tore through their gates. It sat there for a minute, leaving everyone to wonder what the hell was going on.
Finally it opened and Alicia watched as walkers piled out of it. She looked to Hershel who was laying in the grass.
The fired a few round at some of the walkers but there were men out there to. She tried to get on of them but he was too fast.
The governor fired a few celebratory rounds before driving off. She ran to the gate with Maggie, Beth, and Carol, killing walkers as fast as she could.
She let out a relieved breath as she saw Glenn driving in and going to get Hershel.
Unknown to Alicia, Daryl and Merle were helping Rick. After they killed the remaining walkers Rick looked to him, sharing a nod.
"She's gonna kill you." He said as they walked back.
"Yep."
Alicia hugged Hershel as he got out of the truck. "I'm glad you're ok." She smiled.
"Me too." He chuckled.
She laughed, walking over to Glenn, hugging him as well. "Are you ok?" She asked.
He nodded. "Better than ever." He sighed.
She chuckled, kissing his cheek before walking to the gate with him. They looked out at the remaining walkers, and watched as more filed in.
"Oh my God." Maggie breathed beside her. She turned to Alicia, pointing to Rick. "Look."
Alicia squinted her eyes, putting a hand on her forehead to see what she was looking at. It took her a minute but her eyes widened as she saw him.
Daryl was standing there, looking back at her. Merle was with him, a grin on his face.
She turned to Maggie, on the brink of tears. "No. I can't fucking do this." She scoffed, walking back into the cell block.
—————
Daryl, Rick, and Merle made it into the prison. Daryl was immediately asking for Alicia."She doesn't wanna talk to you." Glenn growled, stepping in front of him. Daryl looked over his shoulder, watching as Maggie walked out of Alicia cell.
"Hey!" She yelled, marching up to Daryl. She pushed Glenn aside, staring up at the man. She shook her head, and with one hand, slapped him hard across the face.
Daryl stood there, shocked. "What the hell were you thinking!?" Maggie yelled. "Leaving her like that! No goodbye! No I love you!" She shoved Daryl, pushing him back slightly.
"I wasn't thinking-"
"You weren't thinking!?" Glenn stepped in now. "Hell no you weren't thinking! She's been miserable! She thinks it her fault!"
"It ain't her damn fault!" Daryl yelled back, tired of waiting to see her.
"Man, you don't get to just walk in here like you didn't leave her." Glenn scoffed.
"If you would move the hell outta my way, I'm gonna fix it!" Daryl yelled.
Glenn punched him. He punched him square on the jaw... right as Alicia walked out of her cell.
"Stop it!" She yelled. Everyone went quiet, looking at her as she walked towards them. "We're not gonna fix shit if you idiots down stop yelling at each other!"
She breathed heavily, fuming as Daryl refused to meet her eyes. "I can handle this." She breathed, looking at Glenn.
They watched as she grabbed Daryl's arm, dragging him into her cell. He clumsily followed her, very visibly frightened by the pregnant woman.
Hershel began to laugh. "He won't be leaving again after the hell she's gonna rain down on him."
Maggie laughed as well, running a hand through her hair. "Dixons got it in for him."
Alicia pushed Daryl down onto the bed, pacing the room. "You just left." She scoffed. "You left me here, and I didn't know what the fuck to do with myself."
"Ali, I'm sorry. I really am." He said, finally looking up at her.
"Well if you're so damn sorry why did you leave?" She scoffed.
"Because I love you." He said, grabbing her hands. "I love you and I can't handle myself out there without you." He looked down, putting a hand on her stomach. "And I love this little shit. I don't want to miss her."
"Her?" Alicia laughed, temporarily forgetting her anger.
He shrugged. "Just a hunch."
She sighed, sitting down beside him. For the first time since he got back, she realized how amazing it felt to have him back beside her. She laid her head on his shoulder, letting him wrap his arms around her.
"I missed you." She whispered.
He brought her face up to look at his. "I missed you too." He pressed his lips against hers.
She sighed into the kiss having missed this contact so much. She let him run his fingers through her hair, relishing in the way it felt.
When he pulled away he looked at her. "We ok?"
She sighed. "Only cause you're my baby daddy."
He rolled his eyes. "Stop."
