"Hey, don't move." Alicia looked over to see Tara pushing Glenn back down. "Here's some water."

"Where are we?" Glenn mumbled.

"I don't know." She sighed. "We were fighting biters and you passed out, right after we left the prison."

Alicia grabbed his arm. "We didn't know what to do. The back of the truck seemed safer than the side of the road." She said.

Glenn looked around before looking back at Alicia. "Did we pass the bus?" She furrowed her brows. "On the road did we pass the bus?"

Alicia realized. "I don't know... I fell asleep."

Tara stepped in for her, nodding her head. "Yeah."

"What did you see?" He asked. She just stared at him. "What did you see?"

"They were all dead."

"How long since we passed it?" Alicia asked quietly. Her ears were starting to ring.

"3 hours." Tara sighed.

"Hey!" Glenn banged on the back glass. "Hey stop the truck! Stop the truck!"

Abraham held his hand up, flipping them off. "Hey! Numbnuts! Stop the truck!" Tara yelled.

Glenn picked up the rifle, using the butt end to bang it against the glass. "Stop the truck!" The glass cracked and Abraham finally slowed to a stop.

Glenn, Tara, and Alicia let down the tailgate, grabbing their bags and beginning to walk off.

"Where the hell are you going?" Abraham asked. He turned to Tara. "Where the hell are they going?"

Alicia rolled her eyes, turning to him. "I told you when he woke up we were ditching your ass." She looked at Glenn. "He's awake."

She turned back around, starting to walk off. Abraham's scoffed. "Look this special mission that we're on is time sensitive, so I need you to turn your ass around and get back in the truck."

Glenn just looked at him. "I gotta go."

Abraham put a hand on his chest. "It's seems like non of y'all been paying close enough attention to the hell on earth we're living in. So let me tell you how to best avoid winding up another dead-alive prick. You find some strong, like minded comrades and you stay stuck together like wet on water. We need people. The more, the better. We need each other partner. Even with all that gear on your shoulder you won't last a night. Not by yourself."

Alicia scoffed. "He won't be by himself."

They tried walking off again, Alicia slipping her hand into Glenn's. He gave it a gentle squeeze, letting her know he was there.

"I'm gonna have to insist... that you hold the hell up. Believe it or not... the fate of the entire damn human race might depend on it.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Glenn asked. "Who is this guy?"

"I'm sergeant Abraham Ford. These are my companions. Rosita Espinosa and Dr. Eugene Porter. We're on a mission to get Eugene to Washington DC. Eugene's a scientist... and he knows exactly what caused this mess."

Glenn looked a Rosita and Eugene before looking back at Alicia. He ran a hand through his hair. "Alright. So what happened?"

There was a pause. "It's classified." It was the first time Eugene had spoken.

"He's been talking to the muckity-mucks in Washington on his satellite phone." Abraham said. "The past couple weeks... nobody's been picking up on the other end. We saw how you handled those corpses back there. We could use your help."

Alicia shook her head, gritting her teeth. "I have to find my family."

They began walking again, Tara jogging to catch up. "I had to get us off that road. You were passed out and we were out of bullets. I know how to get back to that bus. I wrote down... every turn. I will get you back. I can, ok?"

"That's where she'd go to find me. That's where I'm gonna go." Glenn said.

"It's a waste of time." Alicia internally groaned. "Tara told us what went down. There is zero chance you will ever find your wife or your family again. Alive or dead. Mainly because, sorry to tell you, they're gone."

Alicia turned around quick, punching him in the jaw. "Will you fuck off!?" She yelled. "I don't give a damn what you think! If I just give up on my husband and my daughter then I have nothing left! Let me find them!"

Abraham tried to grab Alicia but Glenn stopped him, punching him as well. "You son of a bitch!" He tackled Glenn to the ground. The three women tried to pull them apart. It wasn't working.

Alicia jumped at the sound of gunfire. "Eugen! Stop firing damn it!"

This was her opportunity. She grabbed Glenn's shoulders, looking him in the eyes. "I'm going to find them. You and Tara come when you can but I'm going now." She kissed his head before darting into the woods, running as fast as her legs would carry her.
