Ker and Kat continued down the path, still following the little dog, hand in hand.

"Ker, are you sure this is a good idea? I know you want to find our family and all, but I wouldn't get our hopes too high." Kat warned.

"Well, it can't hurt to try. Better than working at a fish factory." She shrugged.

"But... What if we don't find the family we're looking for?"

Ker paused in her tracks and looked down the path with hope in her eyes.

Ker: "Heart, don't fail me now! Courage, don't desert me! Don't turn back now that we're here."

Ker took a few more steps forward and held her hands out for Kat, Kat then placed her hands in her sisters and she smiled.

Kat: "People always say 'life is full of choices'."

Ker: "No one ever mentions fear!"

Kat: "Or how the world can seem so vast on a journey... To the past."

Ker started walking backwards pulling Kat along with her as the girls smile at each other.

Ker: "Somewhere down this road, I know someone's waiting. Years of dreams just can't be wrong!"

Kat pulled Ker forward by her hands and embraced her in a bear hug, and started swaying them back and forth.

Kat: "Arms will open wide. We'll be safe and wanted. Finally home where we belong."

Ker pulled away and took Kat by her hands again, and they started spinning around together.

Ker: "Well, starting now, we're learning fast. On this journey to the past."

Ker gently let go of one of Kat's hands and they started running down the path.

Eventually they came across a house and the little dog started playing chase with the children who lived there.

Ker: "Home, Love, Family..."

Kat: "There was once a time we must have had them, too."

The family waved them goodbye as the three continued.

Ker: "Home, Love, Family. We will never be complete until we find you..."

Kat picked up the dog in one arm and was twirled around by Ker with the other arm.

Kat: "One step at a time, one hope, then another."

Ker: "Who knows where this road may go."

Ker and Kat came across a fallen log, and Ker climbed on it, taking off her hat and letting her dark brown hair flow free.

Ker: "Back to who we were, on to find our futures."

Ker held out her hand and helped Kat up onto the log. Kat walked across behind Ker.
