Sorry peeps , I kind of passed away 😅I got you like 24 drafts for the future though...

Mei,Redson,Mk and The others were at Julia's vacational house,it had multiple rooms and pretty much all you would want on the food sector.

As they came in, mk could t help but note the resemblance to mei's house "this place is pretty big!" Mk exclaimed as the doors closed behind them. As they walked forwards they cought a glimpse of the backyard, filled with plants statues and a calm looking pool.

Mk strut forward, seating Redson in the process as he yanked Julia towards the window "is that a pool" he asks as he stares outwards "yes" answers Julia, and without any warning, mk pulls everyone out the door and to the pool.

And to the surprise of no one, they didn't like it, thankfully they had left their bags at the entrance but it's safe to say they were still pretty unappreciative of getting their clothes soaked.

Of course the bitterness only lasted a second as they all began to playfully splash mk , who retaliated by swimming under them and scaping the splashes.

After playing for a few minutes Redson, Mk and Mei got out and Julia took each of them to their rooms, as Pigsy and tang walked around the place , it was big but most of the rooms were already being used for other stuff other than living quarters, so they had to split into pairs.

Tang and Pigsy took a room near the kitchen and next to them, Mk dragged Redson to stay with him. Sandy and Mo had their own room across from pigsy's, which also had an exit to the backyard. And with Mk taking the room with Redson Mei staid with Julia for the night.

This left Wukong and Macaque no other choice but to share a room. they were in good terms though, so it wasn't as insufferable as it used to be before.

They didn't talk much with eachother during that week, but they sure did get to deal with each other. There was some sort of unspoken agreement between them and they just lived in their separate sides of the room, there were occasional complaints but other than that there weren't any problems between them. They even came to enjoy each others company

The rest of the time at the house was spent quietly apart from the younger ones, who were constantly causing a ruckus around the house. It's was of course a bit of a hassle to clean up afterwards, but nothing they couldn't handle.

As their final night in the pool house settled and the three trouble makers came to exhaustion, they headed to their rooms and began their rest, leaving the adults to organize everything for their departure.

As they organized, Wukong and Macaque felt slightly nostalgic, having spent this week together brought back painful memories, but they could both state that this week brought on new memories as well, ones they would make sure to not forget.

As morning fell in, the kids had one final splash around the pool.
The sun glistened softly as it kissed their skin, fur, and other alternatives. Wukong and Macaque both sat on beach beds, the umbrella over them shading Macaque while allowing Wukong to enjoy the soft glimmer of that big star in the sky.

Wukong glanced to the side. Macaque had closed his eyes—he wasn't asleep, and Wukong could tell, but for some reason the expression on his face showed a calmness Wukong had never seen on the other. It was rare, and Wukong intended to drink it all in.

In fact, both of them shared the sentiment. As Macaque closed his eyes, he could only think about what was coming next. This moment here and now felt like something that would never come again; this sense of peace and belonging that warmed his chest would soon disappear and there's nothing he could do about it other than wait, wait for that inevitable fight to happen and hope, with all his might, that they would all make it out to have another one of these loud, warm, and safe pool days.

But the thought was interrupted as the sound of Wukong getting up reached his ears, he opened his eyes and saw him standing there, waiting.

"Arent we gonna enjoy the pool at least once?" it was the first time they talked since they got there, and it amused macaque that that was their conversation starter

"Dont drown" he gets up, silently hoping his smile wasn't too noticeable, Wukong didn't even bother covering his up, though, and they walked together towards the kids at the pool. From outside Pigsy, tang and sandy couldn't help but feel the same worry of this moment not coming back soon.

"Screw it, let's go" Pigsy took off his shirt and scoffed as he walked to the pool, tang and sandy soon followed with smiles on their faces.

They walked toward the pool together, side by side. Before they could even step in, MK launched a splash straight at them, soaking them both. Mei whooped, Redson yelled, and the whole backyard erupted as everyone dove in after him.

Pigsy groaned, Sandy laughed, tang slipped in with a yelp, and within seconds the pool became a storm of arms, water, and noise. Someone cannonballed. Someone got dunked. Someone screamed, "MK!!" loud enough to shake the tiles.

Wukong and Macaque finally joined the chaos, letting the water swallow them with the rest of the noise. For a moment the world was only splashing, shouting, and warmth—messy, loud, perfect.

Tomorrow could come with everything they'd been avoiding.
But today, just for a few more hours, they had this.

And for now...it was enough.

Alriiiiiiiiight, so it's probably obvious by now (I think) to anyone who's been reading this for a while that I left for, well.... A WHILE. And honestly, I can't make up any excuses, so I'll just tell you the truth: I didn't know what to write, and the things I did write, I didn't like enough to publish.

The note at the beginning still stands true, but the chapters will also take a while to publish (since I planned those drafts almost a year ago).
