"Lady Tah." A soft voice says, following a knock  on the window.
Uly groans awake and sits up. She reaches to the side and grabs her phone to check the time.
12:06 in the afternoon.
Then she turned to the window where she heard the knock and realized she was in a carriage.
For a second, she wondered why but then remembered what she had prepared for yesterday.

A test by Sir English.

"Lady Tah, you must come out now. Sir Britain does not like to wait. Especially under this circumstances."
"Of course." Uly grabbed her bag and the servant opened the door. She grabbed the servant's extended hand for assistance stepping down to ground level.

She didn't have time to spectate the full estate. Another servant opened the door and, with a big smile, motions for her to come inside.
So Uly goes up the stairs covered with beautiful vines on the side to get into the house.
"Welcome Lady Tah." The servant said, bowing lowly with both hands in front of her "Come with me."

And with that she walks down the hallway.
While Uly was following, she couldn't help but look at the walls. It looked rusted and old like somewhat a shack would be. But pictures were still hung on them. Picture of the family sitting elegantly at a throne room.

If you lift your head, above are torches with hanging plants. It barely lighted the room so Uly had to make sure the servant was right in her sight so she wouldn't get lost.

"It's here." The servant said when they stopped in front of a room with double doors and opened it "Wait for a bit. He'll be here soon."
Uly nods and stepped inside.

In the room was another hall. This time, instead of solid walls, there was glass windows that lined the room. Between the glass windows was glass panels, showing different events in history.
She looked at all of them as she walked down the hall. Some of them were sort of familiar but she didn't know why.

"Lady Tah, am I correct?"
Uly jumped at the sound but hid it quickly "Yes. That's me."
A man older than her but about the age of Lady Merick walks over to her. He had blond hair that he combed to the side and a hat was set skewed on his head that leaned to the right.
His clothes were simple, a shirt tucked in his pants and he wore a sort of like cloak that hung down a extra piece of cloth that flowed by his feet.

His face was softly littered with blush and his eyes were a pale yellow that curled with his soft smile "I've heard about you." He says as he walks over.
His words were blurred with a accent she wasn't sure what language he originally speaks.
"I'm here for your test Sir English." Uly says, standing straight up.

The man chuckles, covering his mouth as he does so "Oh, I'm not Sir English."
As he says so, the door opened again. A different man walks in proper and elegant. Head held up. Eyes set straight ahead.
This man had brown hair but basically wore the same thing as the first man. But with a bigger hat and a coat instead of a cloak.

He didn't hold a smile as he walks over to the group "I thought you were waiting in the kitchen for tea." He says.
The first man chuckles "I wanted to see the guest."
"The guest" he eyes her "is going to be taking a test. She doesn't need any distractions."
The first man nods and stands up straight like a soldier "I won't say a word."
"You better not or I'll sleep on the couch tonight."

The man blinks but then widened his eyes, immediately lunging for Sir Britain's arm "Nooo don't-"
"Not a word." And so the first man shuts his mouth and nods, stepping back from him but still holding his hand.

Uly watches the interaction with curiosity on her mind. She had never been in this world before so she doesn't know all the people here. From what Mr Merick said when she came to visit them at the western household, her family can be sort of strict with newcomers because of what happened in the past.
Even if they're technically her own states.
They just need some time to get used to them, then they will see their real personalities.
