The second she stepped back into her room she immediately scurried to pack up all her things into a backpack.
She made sure she had all she needed. Water, perhaps a notepad, the map she was looking at yesterday, and her phone. She removed her phone from the tracking app her dad made her have incase they ever got lost, which was much more common back then than now, but this time, it wasn't him looking for her or even any of her siblings.

It was them looking for him.

The hardest part of this was sneaking past papa to get to the front door. Of course she could sneak out the window too, but then she'll have to cross over the many many windows that line the walls. Plus, the direction she was going was exactly at the front door so it would be easier.

"What are you doing?"
Utah jumped. She nearly dropped her phone in the process of putting it inside her bag "Gosh- darn it Washington." She tried her best to whisper "Don't sneak up on me!"
Washington smiled "Sorry, but what are you doing?"

"Packing."
Washington rolled her eyes "Packing for what?"
Utah quieted down. She wasn't sure if she should tell Washington her plan. Washington might tell the others because she's kind like that. And that would ruin her plan if she told papa.
Finally, Utah sighed and looked straight into Washington's eyes "I'm going to find dad."

She could very clearly see Washington's eyes widen. Her mouth hung agape as she tried to find the right words "W- What? Why? They police are already going-"
"They're not doing anything." Utah slung the bag up over her shoulder and stood up "They don't care if dad ends up not being found at all. I bet they're just trying to get some spotlight 'cause they're living with the countries."

Washington but her lips into a thin line "But what if they're just putting a lot of effort in and you don't see it? Trust me, Utah, just give it some time."
"No! We've been waiting for too long now." Utah shook her head "I'm going and unless you want to join me, don't bother following." She walked pass Washington and out her bedroom door.

Luckily for her, their papa wasn't in the living room nor kitchen when Utah stomped out of her room.
Who was in the kitchen though, was none other than Colorado. She would say her and Colorado were at the same level of strong - ability wise- but the only thing that was different about them was that he spends most of his time with the others while Utah stays isolated in her room.

She paused a bit when she spotted him. He was sitting on a stool, his hand cushioned his head, and a laptop in front of him. He looked like he was doing something on it but Utah couldn't see what.

The strange thing that caught Utah's eyes was the stare Colorado gave her. A smile didn't grace his face like usual and his eyes were dull to any emotion.

They looked like he knew what she was doing even before she said anything.

Utah swallowed the lump she never realized was in her throat "Colorado." She greeted.
He didn't react until a few seconds later when he slightly nods his head "Utah." He greeted back. But then he tilts his head "Where are you going?"

Utah gulps. He does know. "Outside."
"But papa said we couldn't go out?"
"I won't take long." I'll take forever.

Colorado nodded "Okay." And he turned back to the computer.
Utah caught her breath. She didn't want to overthinking about this so she just left. Walked out the door without a second glance.

A few seconds later, Washington rushes out the door "Hold on- Utah!"
She turns around as Washington stops behind her to catch her breath. Once she did, she stood upward "I'm coming with you!"
Utah eyed the window that showed a view into the kitchen. Colorado was still watching the computer. "Okay. Come on, but be quiet."
