Answer Me God

God?
Are you listening?
This world treats you as a fraud
The words I hear about you are sickening

God?
I need your support
Others may find my request odd
But i come to you as a last resort

I long to be beautiful
I long to be as pretty as other girls
Pretty faces are successful
and pretty girls get pretty rings

I’m stuck with nothing
No one even glances my way
The constant rejection leaves a sting
My deepest desire is for someone to choose to stay

Lord? 
Are you listening
Your lack of response carries the same pain as a sword
But i still believe you listen to my whispering

Lord?
I really need you 
I feel as though my heart is being pierced with a sword
I don’t know what else to do

Please take this feeling away
My thoughts have become too strong
The pain goes on day after day
All i am asking for is the happiness, for which i long

Almighty King?
I really hope you’re listening
I feel like a bird with a broken wing
I’m starting to doubt the stories of the good things you bring

Almighty King?
I can’t do this anymore
I’m in desperate need of saving 
All i want to do is leave this pain behind forevermore

Scars cover my body
All because i hate what i see in the mirror
The end result is always bloody
Each time my thoghts force me to go deeper

Please stop ignoring me
This is not a normal prayer
This is a cry for you to save me
I can no longer handle being just another unanswered prayer
