CEDRIC

Harry sent a letter that morning that didn't warn anything about…
The unmistakable tone of the phone could only come from him.
With a spell, Cedric lured it into the warm bathroom.
“Hello!” he smiled at the device. "I didn't know you were going to call."
"Is it bad timing?" Harry muttered so low that he barely heard it.
"No, never," he replied, glad for the surprise. “Wait a sec," he had to ask, because his slippery hands could interfere with the functioning of the contraption and he didn't know how he would fix it in that case, if he didn't even understand it. A simple impermeability charm did the trick. “Sorry, I'm just in, uh, taking an immersion bath.”
“A what…? You're in the bathroom…?”
For a moment he had wondered if it would be strange to attend like this.
Now he suspected so.
Muggles didn’t do that?
"An immersion bath is…”
“I know what it is. I've never done it, but I've heard of it,” Harry stopped him, laughing on the other end of the line. “Is this how you start the year?“
“It's very relaxing. You should try it.”
With bubbles around and the water kept warm by magic.

As if it wasn't embarrassing enough to have to talk to his boyfriend without any kind of privacy, with Sirius hanging around so openly, the man cast curious glances in his direction every few minutes.
It didn't help that Harry knew where Cedric was.
In the bathroom, in a tub.
Naked.
An image that should not be in his head while being in the living room.

“Actually,” he continued, “I'm working on the clue.”
“Does it help you think?”
"Something like that, yes," Cedric replied, with a laugh. “I almost have it.”
"Is it worse than the dragon?"
Well, he still had to figure out one part...
“I don't think so. You know how to swim?”
"Enough not to drown."
"I think that will do," he admitted, reflective.
A little magic was all they would need...
Harry wanted to know more about the task, but Cedric promised that he would show him when they got back to Hogwarts. “Don't worry,” he said because he didn't want anything bothering Harry on his vacation week with his godfather. In addition, they had to study for the upcoming exams.
Because of the first task, it had been moved to after the break.
"I really don't feel like it…" Harry wailed, "but you're right.”

They talked for a long time about their end-of-year parties.
