HARRY

He was paralyzed, and the only thing holding him down was the chair under him.
While his world trembled, because it couldn't be true.
If Harry'd thought he was about to have a panic attack when his name came out the Goblet…
"Breathe," the boy murmured, leaning over the edge of the table. "I said we'll find a way to prevent that from happening, no matter what. I won't let it happen again."
Harry jumped out of the seat, his heart pounding in his ears.
"That I breathe? He's my fucking boyfriend, and you just told me that…" he moved around the room aimlessly, torn into a complete mess.
"I am aware that he is," Harry barely heard the boy reply. "Don't you think that I, just me out of everyone, have sympathy for your case? After all, I was there when… I saw it…"
Then Harry turned to see his face for the first time since those words.
The sad expression, drooping eyes and the slight frustration in his tone.
Almost offended, and Harry felt awful for his outburst.
A pang in his chest at the thought that maybe…
Maybe this Harry loved Cedric as much as he did.

Harry sat back down, as calm as he could be. "What happened? When did it happen?"
"I don't know how much I should tell you…" was the answer he got, but at the fierce and annoyed look that Harry gave him, the boy continued, "The Tournament, the third task. I am not going to say more for now, until I devise a plan that can work."
"Okay, let's do that."
He noticed how that Harry tried not to laugh.
"Just relax. We'll think of something, but it won't be tonight."
Even if it were he himself who ordered such innocuous things, Harry would not obey.
Which he also seemed to perceive.
"I'm sorry. You're too upset today, and we won't get anything out of it."
When the boy waved his wand in Harry's direction, he didn't even blink.
Perhaps the lack of alarm was due to unconscious trust.
Or from the shock he no longer had any sense of preservation.
Anyway, what the boy did was duplicate the chair and sit next to the table.
"Want some?" he asked, starting to eat dinner.
"I'm not hungry."
"That's what I supposed. I wouldn't be either. It's just that I didn't have lunch."

"How did you find me? With the map?"
The casual question startled him.
Harry wasn't even watching as he wolfed down his plate, but instead was trying to bring order to the rioting thoughts in his head. On the one hand, they were difficult to turn into words and settled like heavy feelings in his stomach.
He nodded silently.
Of course he would know about it too.
"You borrowed it from the Weasleys?"
