Chapter twenty eight- Alexander

Jason falls asleep wrapped in my arms. His breathing is soft against my skin. I know I need to clean us up properly but I just want to wait here for a second. Last night I know he kept waking up, he also kept calling out my name in his sleep. And no matter what he says I know he was having nightmares of what happened.

When I know Jason is sound asleep, I move gently off of him trying not to wake him. Getting up I shove on my pants before heading to the bathroom. Once I'm in the bathroom I grab a towel and dampen it. Walking black into his room I can't help but stare at his sleeping form for a while. He looks so peaceful laying there, I don't want to disturb him but know I should clean up before Jason's parents come home. As much as Jason's mum is sex positive no one wants to see their son naked covered in cum.

Moving towards him I wipe up our mess, he stirs a little in his sleep but doesn't wake up. Happy he's still asleep. I then go have a shower then get dressed. My t-shirt or rather Jason's is quite crumpled from being on the floor but I don't care. Once I'm back in his room I light a candle to try and throw off the scent of sex. Yes we didn't mate properly but you can still smell when wolves do it. I've been trying to read up on it but now that I don't have access to my parents library that could become difficult.

I text my sister asking if she wants to come over. After all I don't know how long Jason is going to be asleep for and really want to know what the hell went on yesterday with my dad. Aubrey said she'll be over soon, now that the pack is aware of a vampire staying with the Blackwoods hopefully Aubrey won't have any trouble.

While I wait for my sister I look around Jason's house. It's not exactly snooping other than the fact it totally is. I want to know what Jason meant by it being the full moon soon. For some reason that gives him a timeline to tell his dad and I have no idea if I'm just being super oblivious.

There's a knock and the door and I instantly answer quickly running away from the bookshelves in the living room. I'm assuming they have most of the books at the pack house. Their selection is not exactly limited but it is directed a lot more at growing up to be a strong Alpha and looking after pups.

Opening up the door I let Aubrey in. I direct her to the living room which feels weird, kind of like I'm intruding. Especially with Jason just being asleep upstairs. I'm so used to having to hide from the pack it's weird not shouting at Aubrey to come in before anyone sees her. There's two sofas in the living room facing each other. I sit on one and Aubrey sits on the other, if she was a human I'd offer her a cup of tea but I guess we just have to skip the pleasantries and jump into the nitty gritty, taking a deep breath I breath, "Okay tell me about what happened?"
