The whole class I try to keep my head down. Luckily when the class ended he didn't come up to me. From the slight glances I've had I've noticed he is cute with brown curly hair, I don't know his eye colour because of his fringe and the fact we haven't made eye contact. It doesn't matter what I think of him though he's a werewolf! It doesn't matter that he is stereotypically my type or the fact he has muscles that could champion any WWE wrestler. Of course he's hot. Our supernatural beings are supposed to– it makes it easier for us to find prey. Just as I think about prey my fangs slide out my mouth piercing my lips. Great, I forgot breakfast. Searching through my rucksack I notice my mum has snuck in a juice box filled with blood. She labelled it strawberry but thats just for the humans benefit. Taking it out I leisurely sip on it while trying to find my next class. That's when I feel a broad hand hit my shoulder sparks radiate through my jacket piercing my skin. Weird...

"Dude what the hell?" I ask incredulously, turning round on him. He still won't meet my gaze but I know he's the werewolf from earlier– to be fair I knew he was around from his smell alone but not right behind me.

He grits his teeth, his eyes going dark, "You can't drink that here." His nose is scrunched up like he's smelling something bad and I don't know if it's the blood or me. If I remember correctly vampires are supposed to smell sickeningly sweet to werewolves so I wouldn't be surprised which one it is.

My stomach starts to churn as I realise he knows what is in the carton. Of course he would, he probably has an amazing wolf sense of smell. My mouth opens and closes like some sort of fish– ooh maybe a kissing gourami, but then I think of kissing him and have to get my mind straight (ish). Without saying a word I take a long sip finishing off the carton. The werewolf growls at me.

"I'm serious, this school is packed with you know what. You can't go around drinking that here and if you have any common sense you'll try to mask your smell." His nose scrunches at the last word perpetuating how disgusting I am. I'm assuming he means werewolf which means there's a whole pack here and to my knowledge the only vamps here are my family. Meaning we've accidentally moved into a town riddled with werewolves. I need to tell my dad we need to get out of here.

"What am I supposed to drink then?" I take a long look round until placing my eyes on a girl and pointing, "How about her?"

"Don't you dare!" He growls coming closer to me. From here I can smell his scent mixed with that human's perfume. Uh he's clearly dating her, but I can't smell the mating bond.

"I can do what I want," I say leisurely, turning my back to him. He grasps my shoulders, spinning me around.

"There's rules in place. You can't touch her, she's mine," his voice is deep and authoritative.

"That's a lot of perception for a human that's not your mate."

He scoffs in response and huskily says, "Leave your blood at home." The way he says blood makes it seem revolting and I guess to him it is but it's the only way we can survive. Anyway this is just blood from a blood bag it's not a big deal, no humans were harmed in the making. The plan is eventually to move onto animal blood like my parents but it's really difficult for young vampires. Without saying another word and turning around I go to find my next class. There was so much more needing to be said but having a fight in the halls with a werewolf is not my idea of fun– well at least not at school. Especially as being late to another class won't look good.

The next lesson goes smoothly until I have my first study. Heading into the sixth form study centre there are about ten heads that all turn my direction. Okay so there are a LOT of werewolves at this school. Trying to head to the back of the room, I sit down minding my own business. This can't be too bad, they'll just leave me alone– hopefully. Once I'm settled with my laptop out I see a girl coming over to me, from the smell alone it's clear she's the girlfriend of the guy that grabbed me earlier. She doesn't look menacing though, just has a smile and offers her hand, "Hi, I'm Edith. You're new to this town right."
