"Bite me." Jason's words shock me to the core. He knows I'm hungry and I know he wont drop it.

"Jason–"

"Alexander please," his voice is needing almost as if he needs this just as much as me. My stomach makes a sound which wouldn't be heard to human ears but just makes Jason whine like a lost puppy.

"I don't know if I can," I whisper. Jason moves close then lightly places his lips on mine, sparks fly up my spine making me feel more confident. I've met a man who I love and who loves me, this is important to him.

"Alexander I trust you. I WANT you to do this." Jason then leans his neck towards me, so close I can hear the beats. His jugular is clear, waiting for my fangs. Leaning in close I lightly kiss his neck, feeling Jason shiver at my touch I pull him in closer. Placing on last kiss I then wrap one arm around him. My fangs slide out caressing his skin, Jason takes a deep breath as I push them in. Instantly that same feeling of nirvana washes over me. ButI thought Micheal's was good, Jason's is even better. It ignites me like electricity.

He moans under my touch which scares me for a moment until I feel him harden between us. He's enjoying this the sadistic fuck. Although when I suck more blood from him I sart to feel myself harden too. There's something oddly sensual about me drinking from him. This is the closest we've physically been and I'm relishing his touch. After a while I start to become full. Retracting my fangs from his neck, I lick the droplets of blood so they don't drip onto his white shirt.

Pulling from him I see Jason's eyes are droopy yet dilated. There's a satisfied smirk on his lips, he pulls me in connecting our lips once again, "That was incredible."

At that moment I feel my phone vibrate between us shocking us out of whatever that was. Looking at it I see my sister is outside. So, this is it. We're off to see my dad.

We meet Aubrey outside. Jason is next to me drinking a regular coke to keep his sugar up, Micheal apparently just had it on him but I'm pretty sure he went out and brought it. Unlike me he definitely knew what was up. Jason normally has magical werewolf healing but for a vampire bite it doesn't really work like that. If you see his neck you can clearly see two puncture wounds. Aubrey doesn't say anything about it which I'm honestly surprised about. There's a slight smell of his blood in the air which I feel guilty about because it must be awful for Aubrey to just be inhaling. Although when I look at her she gives me a small reassuring smile.

As we're heading slightly out of town we go into Micheal's car. Aubrey dibs sitting in the front which makes it easier to decide. Micheal and Aubrey probably both know I need Jason by my side but it doesn't mean Micheal won't feel awkward with Aubrey in the front. Getting into his car Jason instantly holds my hand.

"Hey can I use the aux?" Aubrey asks.

Micheal shrugs with a mumbled yes. He hasn't mentioned being nervous but from how intensely he's watching the road he might be. With Bikini Kill blasting from the speakers we're officially on our way to see my father.

Pulling up to the diner Micheal scopes out where he's going to hide. He finds a spot that looks in to a certain table. Seeing my dad isn't there yet we all head in and wait at that table. From here Micheal is completely hidden but I feel reassured that someone is watching. Even if my dad seems like he's not a bad guy it doesn't mean that's true.

We pick a booth and Aubrey pulls up a chair to the table. Jason and I slide in on one side and she sits on the chair clearly not wanting to end up directly next to our dad. I can't blame her, I don't want to be next to him either. We wait as patiently as we can, each of us not being able to muster up a word. The silence is deadly only being broken once by a waitress. Jason orders a coffee to be polite but she looks a bit disheartened when Aubrey and I don't order anything. Even if I could eat human food without struggle my stomach feels so queasy I wouldn't be able to stomach it. And I'm even more worried about potentially vomiting because my mate just gave me his blood.

The bell by the door rings causing us to all whip our heads around so fast I'm surprised we didn't get whiplash. My father gazes over the room until his eyes lock at our table. He gives us a small hesitant smile before moving towards us. However his smile drops slightly when he notices Aubrey is not in the booth. Nevertheless he sits down and puts his hands on the table. I realise he has also placed a bag down next to him which intrigues me.

He looks from me to Jason, then his expression contorts to a shocked expression as he notices the bite mark. Jason chuckles awkwardly, placing his hand over it. Maybe we should've stopped off to get him a scarf or something.

Dad leaned in closer hissing to me, "What did you do?"

Anxiety whirls in my stomach. One rule they had was to never drink from a human, but Jason isn't exactly a human so it doesn't really count, "What me and my mate do is none of your business. Besides its not like I'm consuming human blood anymore just animal."

Dad scoffs, "You better be careful because if you kill your mate you'll never recover."

"What, like you tried to kill him?" I retorted, crossing my arms. Jason's hand goes on my thigh letting him know he's still here for me even if our hands aren't entwined.

"Alexander I had no idea he was your mate when we planned that."

"So what? That makes it okay for you to try and kill him? It shouldn't matter if he's my mate or not, he is a person. How could you even do that to someone?" My hands are clenched so hard I can feel my nails drawing blood. Jason must smell my blood because he moves my hands placing both my hands in his grip.

"You don't know what their kind did to us, they ruined our family!" Dad exclaims slamming his fist on the table. People in the diner turn round giving him a glaring look. A waitress then said he needs to calm down or leave.

"So tell us. What could they have possibly done to deem you killing them an acceptable punishment?" Aubrey asks lowly.

"They took everything from your mother and I. They were the ones that killed our children. That's when we realised that we would do anything to avenge them. Our kids were taken from us prematurely, we knew they'd eventually pass, they were humans after all but we had decades left with them that was snatched from our clutches!" Dad's voice is strained as he speaks, I've never heard him sound so vulnerable.

Jason tenses next to me like he's not believing what he's hearing. This is all too much. I try to think back to how long ago they had these kids and it must've been Jason's great-great grandad that killed them, "So why punish them now and not back then? It was Jason's great great grandad that did this? Shouldn't that revenge have ended when he passed away, why keep this blood debt going?"

"You wouldn't get it unless you had kids of your own. They are your whole world and the fact nothing will bring them back still kills me to this day. Your mother and I would do anything to help ease that pain but when I knew Jason is your mate I couldn't go through with it. No matter what you're still my kid and I would never want to hurt you the way their family hurt us. I know you may never forgive me but I'm giving my all to stop your mother and would really like it if we could one day come to a sort of reasoning to have some kind of relationship. I know it will never be the same but I am truly– deeply sorry. As I know you won't want to live with us after this for your safety I have taken the means of putting a bag of essentials together."

"I don't know if that will ever be possible, at least for me. Thank you for putting the bag together though."

"Same for me, it will always mean a lot to me that you took us in and treated us as your own but what you did is truly unforgivable," Aubrey says and with that gets up from her chair storming out the diner.
