Hello you guys! Welcome back to my story. (help why does this sound like a 2020 yt intro...🥲)  Also I put the chapter number down here just incase yall can't read Roman Numberals. So it's chapter 9.

I want to say something but it's so outta context- January 11th 2024, is Alexander Hamilton's birthday- Incase there are any Hamilton fans out there (me lol)
Ok ok, a few more things, this chapter may be short only because im tired. So that also might result in spelling errors. And maybe bad writing? Now I'm done, story person.. I really dont know.. Uh-  take it away?- Ahem, AHem ,AHEm ,AHEM...

Zavan's Pov...

"The General?!" I almost yelled. "Yes! Of course." I never thought women fought in the military... "So, basically, your kind of telling me, I MIGHT... Be working in the military? Like fighting?" I looked in shock. "Well, depends if the general thinks your worthy. They don't let women on most of the time, so pretty low chances of you fighting in the military... But you might have choices. You might be a writer for the a revoulution, if it does break. But thats only if you can write and your good at it. If you can't, your out of luck."

I sighed. "Low Chances"?  This can not go any horribe... Lets wait and see what this group has for me. Sir General, I'll prove you women can fight, just you wait.

We entered into the back courtyard. It was huge compared to the small, rusted shed. The grass was frosted in early February. It was kind of cold, just enough to wear a sleeved waistcoat , or a morning coat. Men were lined up in a single file line, facing the early noon sun, it looked like if they were practicing, incase war did break out. The Gereral looked tall. He wore a long blue coat with gold buttons and gold shoulder pads.

The General seemed to notice us in the cornor of his eye. " Gentalmen, rest. We will get right back to it later." He boomed, the ground felt like it was shaking. "Yes Sir!" The men replied back as quickly as eye could blink! The cold man walked up to us. "Hello," His voice was way quieter now, thankfully. I bowed, the respect bestowed upon him.

He took off his hat and bowed, but then the hat was right on again, snugged tighly around his head. "Mr Clamlard, who is this?" He smiled at me, and I smiled right back. "Yes, your honor, this is Zavan Eliadam. She traveled all the way from France." Clamlard looked at me and smiled, proud of me, and himself. The stare broke when the general started again. "Thank you for coming all this way Miss. Your honor for our young nation awakens us, and will be welcomed."

The general seemed to be sweet .But then again. I shouldn't guess, you never know. He walked off and returned back to his men. I watched closely. "You might have a chance, sweetheart. You might have a chance." He repeated. The beam on my face was wide. Very wide. This is a good start! It felt like my insides were bursting out with excitment. I wanted to yell and dance! But that would not be welcome in the colonies. A new nation, becoming free.

It was just like a dream. A dream of freedom and founders of the country. The Founders for Us.
