"Okay. You got this. Just two nights of frivolity and then we're back to our life." She was fluffing up her hair in the hotel lounge's restroom. She had placed a red hair glamor on tonight. She had been blonde for a while and wanted to try something different. He had liked the blonde... She shook her head.

She had gotten out of the hospital that morning. Enough savings left over for her to put her deposit and forward rent down on a one bedroom apartment. Just enough - she was completely strapped now. She could pick up the keys in two days on Friday when she also had her first shift back at the club. Everything was coming up Ronnie.

She just needed to find an adorable lush to kill a few days with. Plan A, find one of those sweet boys who she could get back up to their room and have some fun. Plan B, an already half-cut semi-decent human being she could ply with more liquor up in their room and she can get a nice night's sleep in a cushy hotel room. She'd give them just enough to think they had the night of their lives. Plan A would be the preference. She hadn't had sex in... a while.

Regardless which way it went, if she was lucky they'd be staying at the hotel until the end of the week. Businessmen were the best targets as they needed to be out all day doing their business.

She walked into the bar with confidence. She strode purposefully, taking in the clientele of the bar floor, able to cross out any unsuitable suitors without letting her eyes linger on them. There were a few tables with two or three men sitting together. She could wrangle two men if she needed to but she'd need them to both be pretty great.

She saw two men each sitting by themselves at tables - one of them was very drunk, waves of self-pity rolled off him. No, thank you. She kept walking across the room. She noticed she had caught the other man's eye and she felt his eagerness. She made sure not to make eye contact - she'd learnt to be careful of what men she met the gaze of.

She was starting to run out of the walkway. She saw there were three people up at the bar. A middle aged couple up one end and a man sitting by himself at the other. The solo drinker was staring ahead so she could only see his wide shoulders in a suit jacket. It looked expensive. His hair was dark, shaved short along the sides with length on the top, pushed back. He hadn't seen her so she couldn't gauge how he would react to her but he wasn't emanating anything concerning. He seemed sad, but not the desperate kind from the other man. Tired. Definitely drunk.

You got this Ronnie.

As they entered the lift, Ronnie noted that there was only one floor button. Impressed, she faced the man. His hand still rested on her lower back. His thumb was circling. She was very okay with how this was going. The guy was an absolute fox. His green eyes were framed by the longest blackest eyelashes she had ever seen. His jaw was strong and long, ending with a square off chin.

As soon as her eyes had met his she'd known instantly where this night was going to end. She had definitely beat her own record. She hadn't needed to push him much at all, just a couple of pulses to make sure she had his attention. Tiny. She only ever did it if the men were already eager - which they always were - just to get things moving quicker. There was no ring on his finger.

The moment of his attraction to her had been amazing. She never felt so wanted before. Her attraction to him was plain and itched right under the surface. She was intrigued by the intensity of his interest but also felt an undercurrent she had not experienced before and was looking forward to exploring it.

She reached up caressing his jaw, touching the top of his neck above his collar and settling her hand on his chest. He looked down at her, his eyes kept coming in and out of focus. He seemed to be about to say something but would stop.
