Chapter 60: Patience My Love

Laying my head on Greyson's back he makes a turn, the sun has officially set and I have no clue how long we've been on the road, tho I don't mind what this surprise is what I care is that I'm beside the man of my dreams.

I never thought I would have a runaway from a private invent but who knows what I could do when it comes to Greyson, it's been so long that I've felt this way before...alive, free.

Greyson seems to be the only one who makes me feel free, who reminds me no one can stop us from having fun, the world is ours.

My dress had been torn from the road and turns we kept making when he officially came to a stop, removing my helmet he helped me off the bike, "Where are we?" I asked my eyes darting toward a black fence trailed with vines hiding what was on the other side, a few street lights were brightening the place.

"Follow me" Our hands interwind as he heads me down the side of the road while cars drive past us, pacing behind Greyson we stop at a black gate, a lock hanging on it and I watch as Greyson pulls out a sudden key from his pocket and unlocked the gate, the gates open wide for us, and I felt my heart drop from the view.

Deja vu hits the pit of my stomach as he smiles at my reaction, "The abandoned park," I beam glancing at him, nodding he licks his bottom lip he fists, my hand tighter, "Remember that night?" he asks and I nod, that was the best night of my life, before everything changed and we parted.

It was the night I realized I loved him, the fountain stood before us, empty and dirty as the last time we saw it, and the tree...where we to much fun. "How could I forget" Suddenly he releases my hand and paces to our left corner.

I frowned curiously as he kneeled and switched something on, I gasped as little lights ran up the gates like little cars, following them my smile widened as it lit up every corner, a sudden sound of water splashing caught my attention, and my eyes beam as I see water flowing above the fountain hand landing on the pool.

"Greyson" I giggle in shock, feeling his hands meet my waist pulling me close, my eyes pool with water as I see the lights flicker the tree, our tree.

The little lights wrap around the trunk up its leaves lighting it up. "You did this for me?" I asked facing him, "I would go far and beyond for you Dollface," he said glancing down at me, the tears slipped down my cheeks as I leaned on my tip toes to peck him on the lips, "You ready for your surprise" My smile drops with a frown, "There's more?" he chuckled nodding, when he leads me behind the fountain.

on the grass laid a white blanket, over it was a glass of champagne and some chocolate-covered strawberries, and beside it...was mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Greyson sat helping me down as I dragged my dress onto my lap, "What's all this for?" I giggled as he held a strawberry to my mouth, I maintained my smile as I pulled away and chewed on it as he finished the excess, "I wanted to go down memory lane, back to the day I was genuinely happy" I beam and snatch the box of mint chocolate chip ice cream before he could take it.

"I don't get it"
"What don't you get?" he asked probing himself on his elbows, "All of this" I giggle gesturing to the empty park, the picnic including the fountain.

"What did I do to deserve all of this?" I asked curiously, when he suddenly sighed and scooted closer, creasing my hair behind my hair he forced my chin to look him in the eye, "Nothing"

I frown as a small smile ticked his lips, "You did nothing, but be yourself" Arching a brow he continued, "You are the most beautiful amazing woman I've ever met, you are my light to my darkness, my sun to my moon," my heart instantly drops.
