Chapter 57: Palmer

Greyson

"Plan A, going to the annual Elite Style," Quinn says writing down on her handy dandy notepad while I slurped my jello, Elite Style is an annual Gala hosted by the best directors, it's hosted in Miami Florida and every celebrity goes, its a week away.

And after I'm discharged, Alice and I want to announce our relationship, and, what better way than to show up at an annual Gala with every celebrity, actor, singer, etc?

"Thats perfect-"
"But what if your still hurt by then?" Alice asked cutting me off mid-sentence, "I'll be fine Dollface, all I care about is everyone knowing you're taken by this handsome guy right here"

"Not" Liam clears his throat, I roll my eyes tossing the empty plastic cup in his direction, "He'll be fine either way, he'll have everyone joining, Grace and Jaylen, Esme and Nick, Liam, Aaron...and me" Conrad sighed glancing in Quinn's direction but she quickly jerks practically digging her face into her notepad.

I groan sitting up as I take my fifth sit-up, my chest is in fucking pain, I used to do more than a hundred now I can barely handle two.

groaning I lay on my back, my wound is still healing, yet I still want to be in shape for my next game, and for my Dollface of course-

Suddenly the door from the private gym slams open, "I rescheduled your meeting for next Friday, your lunch is in three hours, and-" Quinn cuts herself off as she sees me lying down on the ground.

Staring up at the ceiling while music played in the background, "Fifth one?"
"Yup," I sighed popping the P, "Okay bud come on" I arched a brow as she set her tablet down and stared down at me like satan himself.

She can be scary-looking...what does Conrad see in her? She looks like she could destroy you in one stare, Hm no wonder Dollface gets mostly everything everyone wishes for.

We hit the jackpot.

I groan and raise, biting my lower lip as I drop back on my back, "Six, seven now!" She demanded, I sigh and huff a breath as I raise, nearly halfway up my stomach is giving up on me-

"Keep going, Graham! Mama didn't raise a quitter" I take a deep breath groaning as I sit back up, Quinn forced me to do ten more.

Shockingly I did without getting a stroke, my abs better be seen as a Greek goddess right after this painful workout (I only did 22 push-ups)

Alice

There are already many rumors spreading throughout the state about Greyson and I secretly dating, and behind Quinn's back, I've been reading all the articles.

"Alice and Greyson used to date back in college and kept it a secret from their parents," a quote said, "Alice and Greyson can be a cute couple but keeping it a secret is BS"
"Greysons Graham's new manager is Quinn! Alice's manager! What a coincidence"

Groaning I roll my eyes and shut off the laptop, these stupid articles can't get to my head, I hate drama and rumors about me and the most I've tried to ignore it and be...perfect I can't.

All my life I followed the rules. With my parents, with the perfect school and college girl, the perfect grades and looks, and history seems to always repeat itself.

I can't let this perfectionist addiction ruin my relationship with the man I've loved throughout my adult years, and I cannot allow these stupid rumors to get to my head, tho they aren't rumors they can keep their noses up their ass.

"Alice?" I flinch and toss the laptop beneath my bed, "Yes?" I ask sitting up and relaxing my dress as Aaron pops his head inside my room, "You have a guest" I swallow and frown, I'm off work who could be visiting me?

Following Aaron outside my room I pace toward my front door, peeking my eye through the peephole I-

My eyes land on long brown hair, with beautiful golden brown skin, red big heart shaped lips, with a worry expression "Shit" I mouth opening the door, Sienna jerks back and gives me a slight smile.

Holding pink roses and a box of chocolate I blink, "Hi" She suddenly spoke, I swallow and glance back at Aaron who was already shaking his head and mouthing, fuck no.

"Sienna, what are you doing here?" I eye her, not caring about my cold tone, "I heard about Greyson and the news going around about you two, and I also came to apologize..."

Is she serious? Does she think roses and some chocolate could make me forgive what she told me? "You don't know me at all" Before I could slam the door shut her hand got in the way.

"Wait please!" Sighing I open it again, "Please Alice your my best friend I know what I said was wrong-"
"I'm going to stop you right there, what I did was unexpectable and I know that, but you had no right to say those things to me knowing I care and love you and had no bad intentions" I hold in the tears wanting to crawl out my eyes, hell no I'm not crying for her anymore

I've been such a good friend and put Esme and her first, but after that day it's like I have no idea who she is, she showed me her real colors and I don't want a friend like that.

She stayed silent and sighed, "I think it's time for us to move on Sie, I can't forgive you for hurting me with those words I've been hearing all my life, it's not my fault this is how I am, I'm a cheerful person who loves to have hope if you can't accept that then we shouldn't be friends"

She sniffles and ignores my gaze, her light brown eyes dropping to my feet as if she was too embarrassed to face me, "Your right Alice, I'm sorry for everything" She then suddenly hands me the roses and chocolate-

"I'll take those" Aaron beams beside me suddenly snatching the chocolate and roses from Sienna, maintaining my smile I glanced back at her, "I was a terrible best friend, and I can't forgive myself for hurting you either...and your right, its best if we move on from it"

I gasped when she suddenly wrapped her arms around me, I didn't hesitate to do the same and hold her tightly, "I will always love you, Alice, I hope you have a great life with Greyson, if we were meant to be we will find each other again"

I beam and release our embrace, wiping her tears away she waves me goodbye, "Goodbye Sienna Palmer"

She smiles, and releases a chuckle, "Goodbye Alice Mayfield"
