Chapter 52: Lucian

Greyson

I groan as the sunlight hits me like a bitch, I am not a morning person but today, I woke up with a smile.

"Morning" Alice smiled while staring right at my lips, her chest covered in a white blanket while I laid beside her, I smiled as I leaned in for a kiss, and without hesitation, she pecked me back, "Is this a dream?" I asked narrowing my eyes at her, She giggled and pecked me one more time, "To be honest kinda wish it was-"

before she could run from me with the blanket over her, I grasped her waist and pulled her back, placing kisses on her neck while she giggled, "Also your um...manager called three times...I picked up and um I think your in trouble, she didn't say pretty nice things"
What...the fuck, oh she's fucking dead.
I roll my eyes and glance at my phone sitting on her coffee table, "She'll get over it-"

Suddenly a phone rang, but it wasn't mine, I glanced around as Alice aimed for her phone, she flipped it around-

Jere Bear

I arched a brow as she nervously swallowed and glanced back at me, "Pick it up" I shrugged, she bit on her lower lip and picked the phone up putting it on speaker, "Hey Jeremiah I'm kinda busy right now-"
"Alice I know your my boss, but...I can't stop thinking about you"

Oh, here we fucking go.

"Jeremiah I-"
"I understand if you fire me I get it but Alice I've wanted you ever since J laid eyes on you, and I know you feel the same way just by how you smile at me, please give me a chance I can protect you-"

I then snatched the phone from Alice's hands, my blood boiling beneath my skin as he muttered another word, "Listen Jere Bear, Alice isn't interested your her bodyguard, and that's all that you were supposed to be, she doesn't mess around with her career like that and you should know that, she's taken and she's in love with someone else, don't contact her again"

I felt like a possessive fuck trying to keep a girl who isn't mine yet after I hang up and handed the phone back to Alice who quietly takes it back, "How do you know I don't mess around with my career?" she asked.

I frown as my heart pounds against my chest, "I didn't say that..."
"Nuh uh I heard you loud and clear, aw are you watching my interview"

Busted

"Yes...Dollface I've been watching your interview since you became a global hit," her smile widens, "I knew you still loved me" I roll my eyes and grasp her waist dragging her against my chest, "Greyson you have-"
"It can wait"

"You came!" Ivory shouted furiously and annoyingly over my shoulder as I walked past her, "Yeah so did your fucking grandma" I roll my eyes busting into the hallway while she gasped "Excuse me?!" I freeze in place and twirl around "What the fuck did you say to Alice"

She scoffs and folds her arms, "Answer me!" I roar, my voice echoing across the hallway, "Why the hell does it matter it's my job to-"

"Yes! it's your fucking job to do my schedule set up my meetings and lunch not to control my fucking life and say shit to the people I love!"

She arched a thick brown brow as she glared me in the eyes, "So you love her"
"Fuck yeah I do," I then take a step closer closing the gap between us hovering over her like a hawk, her shoulder tense as I death stared her from above, "I don't know what you said, but when I found out your dead"

I huff a breath as I turn back around and head toward my meeting.

"I don't get why I had to come along me and the idiot doesn't even get along" Jaylen sighed feeling his eye roll from behind my neck, "The four of you are my closet friends, give it a try"

Aaron smiles at me while Jaylen groans, I park my car near the airport entrance and pull my phone out, ready to text Lucian-

When suddenly an incoming phone call from "Dollface" popped up on my screen, I picked it up and couldn't help the smile on my face, holding my phone into my ears-

"Greyson?!" she shouts through the phone with a giggle, I frown worried by her little giggle and voices being heard from afar, I sigh and glance back at Aaron and Jaylen, whatever they'll find out either way.

"Dollface where are you?"
"I'm home! I just wanted to let you know I'm having a friend reunion in my apartment the girls along with Nick Arden and Abel are already here so bring the rest of the guys and come by quickly"

"Sure we'll be there but Lucian is with me do you think this will be a good-"
"Yes bring him! I doubt Sienna will be too bothered"

I highly doubt that "Sure will be there and fifteen minutes"

"Okay, good drive safe I love you!"
"I...Love you too" She giggles and hangs up the phone, I smile and pull my phone back into my pocket, Just to realize Aaron and Jaylen are giving me smirks, "So your back together huh?" Jaylen asked, I rolled my eyes and dropped my smile, "We were never together what do you mean-"
"Stop the act we all knew you two were fucking in college "

"Yeah it was pretty obvious y'all had a thing for each other" Aaron buds in patting me on the shoulder, I roll my eyes and arch a brow at them, "I don't know what we are...again, but at least the L word is out"

They both awe but quickly get dropped when the tap of a window is heard, I jerk to my left and smirk as I see Lucian, after three years of not being able to see each other he looks the same yet different.

With tattoos over his arms, and a faded haircut showing off his curls, I walk out of the car slamming the door shut.

"Long time no see Graham" He smiles, and I roll my eyes and smile back- and without a blink of an eye he slams his arms across my shoulder, "I missed you bud" he sighed as I hugged him back, "Likewise, but we have somewhere to be.
