Naomi Nelson

episode 1

Naomi's pov:
On Monday morning me and Nick are both up early excited for the day ahead. We go downstairs to get breakfast, we are making chat when mum comes in the kitchen. " No need to guess what you two are all smiley about." Sarah. " I can't wait to see Charlotte at school today." Naomi. " Right come on then I'll drive you both, get in the car." Sarah. When we get to school i get out of the car at Truham knowing that Charlotte would be expecting me to be waiting at the bus stop. Nick walks into school and I let him know that I will be here when he finishes school. I stand near the bus stop and wait for the bus. When it arrives I see Charlie get off the bus and go straight into school, and Charlotte gets off the bus and we walk upto higgs together. " So I have news." Naomi. " Tell me, tell me, tell me." Charlotte. " I came out to my mum last night." Naomi. By this time we have made it to school and she pulls me into an English store room. " Say that again." Charlotte. " I came out to my mum last night, told her everything." Naomi. " Want a well done kiss?" Charlotte. " Uhhhm yeah." Naomi. " How did it go?" Charlotte. " Very well, she was really supportive." Naomi. " you want to come round mine on Wednesday, I know we have rehearsals today and tomorrow." Charlotte. " I would love to." Naomi. " What about school and our friends? Are you ready to tell people?" Charlotte. " Well I dont think I want to go public or anything but we could tell the girls, they're not gonna judge us." Naomi. " Come on we need to get to form, i'm proud of you." Charlotte. " You don't mind if we keep it a secret just a little longer do you? Its just with coming out to mum last night I just need a breather." Naomi. " We can concentrate on coming out to our friends next week, dont worry about it." Charlotte. We get to form just in time before the bell goes. " you two cutting it fine even i was here before you." Darcy. " We've been here a while in..." Charlotte. " The library just catching up on some revision together." Naomi. " Oh right that makes sense, sounds like you two." Tara. We get through the next couple of days without any hiccups. Me, Charlotte, Charlie and Nick are always together if me and Nick aren't at theirs they're at our house. Its now been a week since Me and Nick came out to mum and we are sat in form the next Monday morning. We got here early. " So we're going to tell Elle, Tara and Darcy today like this morning, like now here they come." Charlotte. " I dont know who's more nervous/ excited, can you please just calm down a little." Naomi. " Hey you two, nice and early today." Darcy. " Can we talk to you guys?" Charlotte. " You can always talk to us about anything both of you can." Elle. " Well I've been figuring somethings out about myself lately. Me and Charlotte have been seeing each other for a while now and we wanted you to know. We're not ready to be out publicly but we know we can trust you guys, and we know that you won't judge us." Naomi. " We're happy you trusted us with this." Tara. " I can't believe we found moree." Darcy. " Now there's no more third wheeling for any of you. I'm going to be the one third wheeling with all of you." Elle. " This is great and dont worry we won't tell a soul, I take it the boys know?" Tara. " Nick and Charlie do yeah but not Tao and Isaac." Charlotte. " We will tell them soon though, real soon I just don't want to tell to many people all at once, it'll mess with my adhd." Naomi. " Your what now?" Elle. " I say we save that conversation for another time." Darcy. " Everyone settle down please, im going to do the register." Miss Greenway. On Tuesday me and Nick walk to school with Charlie, Charlotte, Tao and Isaac. " You're making me feel really single right now." Tao. " I have a boyfriend!!" Charlie. " Yes we're all fully aware." Tao. " And he's amazing." Charlie. " Uhmm I'm right here." Nick. " I mean..." Tao. " Hey again still here." Nick. " I mean your okay." Tao. We enter a shop near Isaac's house " I guess as long as you're both happy and looking out for each other." Tao. " TAO XU!! are you giving Charlie and Nick relationship advice?" Elle. " Ah rrrude. I know about relationships I watch alot of romance movies." Tao. I grab a fanta and Charlotte grabs a coke, we wait for Elle and the others and all walk to school together. " How does it feel to be part of the friendship group?" Naomi. " Its way better than my other one, your all so funny and just roll off each other." Nick. " It just takes a bit of time." Naomi. " Nick, Naomi come on keep up." Elle. " We better run to catch up." Naomi. " I will so race you." Nick. On Friday me and Nick walk to school together just us, when we get there I stay with Nick for a bit i needed to talk to Mr Ajayi, he said he would wait for me near the main door. The rugby lads are sat at their usual table. Otis waves at me and Nick and Christian and Sai look over at us, drawing Harry's attention to us. " Here come captain dipstick." Harry. " Nicholasss." Imogen. " Imogen, hi are you alright?" Nick. " I have something very important to show you." Imogen. " Okay." Nick. " Bye Naomi see you later love you, sure big bro love you too." Naomi. I see Mr Ajayi stood near the door so I go up and talk to him. " Let me guess Naomi Nelson?" Mr Ajayi. " Haha thats me, my mum said i should come and talk to you." Naomi. " Somethibg about the French trip and some pills?" Mr Ajayi. " Right that I have adhd and I really want to come to Paris with my  brother and friends but my mum doesn't know how it would work." Naomi. " Right well why don't we arrange a meeting all 4 of us I'll liase with Nick i feel like thats going to be easier." Mr Ajayi. " Yeah thank you." Naomi. " NAOMI!! Charlotte's looking for you." Charlie. " I'm going, I'm going." Naomi. " Dont worry we'll get this sorted between all of us." Mr Ajayi. " What was that all about?" Charlie. " Never you mind Charlie Spring." Mr Ajayi. Me and Charlotte head upto school and into form when the bell goes and the head teacher comes over the pa system. " Good morning girls I hope you have all have a good day and hopefully our year 11's dont hate me too much, yes that's right from now until your exams you will be in the study hall all day apart from break and lunch we aren't monsters. Could all Year 11's make your way to the sports hall, register will be taken there." Head teacher. I look towards Charlotte then behind me to Tara and Darcy I hope this is over soon. We head to the sports hall and we look at the map im sharing a table with Imogen.... Great. I can't help but feel a bit vengeful Charlotte is sharing with Darcy and Elle and Tara are sharing, this is so unfair. Finally school is over the first day of study hall was lonely but if me and Imogen do what we did today I think we'll get along just fine. Its now after school and we have 10 minutes before rehearsal me and Charlotte went to the shop to get a drink whilst Tara and Darcy were trying to sort something out with Elle and Tao. We get back to higgs and go to the hall where we are practicing we do a full run through with props which goes okay. We walk to Truham and see Nick and Charlie coming out of school. " Why would you go back to rugby, I don't get it." Naomi. " Uhmm excuse me, leave him be would you." Nick. " If I hadn't we would have barely seen each other this term." Charlie. " Oh no you guys got study hall too?" Charlotte. " Yep and I'm just gonna tell you guys now it isn't going well." Nick. " Well we should get home before mum starts worrying, we'll see you two tomorrow." Charlie. " I know you why is your study hall experience so bad?" Naomi. " I share a table with Ben Hope need I say much more?" Nick. " I'll take Imogen over Ben any day." Naomi. " What's wrong with Imogen?" Nick. " We've not been close for a while I know we all used to be friends once upon a time but not anymore." Naomi. " We have parents evening next week, I'm not sure what some teachers are going to say." Nick. " Mines this Wednesday, at least we have that sleepover at Charlie and Charlotte's this weekend." Naomi. " Don't I actually can't wait I'm so excited." Nick. " You're like a little child I sware. Hey I know a lot of us are in year 11, maybe we need to arrange to meet up every weekend just put school out of our head especially seen as like Charlie said otherwise we're barely going to see each other it's not even like we can see eachother in classes because we can't." Naomi. " I think that is a good idea, we'll have to talk to the others I'm sure they'll say yes." Nick. " Hey mum we're home." Naomi. " How are you both?" Sarah. " Meh." Naomi. " Study hall started Today and let's just say none of us are happy about it." Nick. " Naomi don't forget I have your parents evening on Wednesday I will be making sure you're behaving in school." Sarah. " Mines next Wednesday mum, only found out today." Nick. " It's okay I'll request a morning shift or just off." Sarah. I go upstairs to read through my lines and do a bit of revision, one good thing about about study hall no homework. Just revision. I do an English past paper before lighting my candle and listening to some music lightly before going to sleep. By wednesday I'm so fed up of not seeing my friends... hardly, it's currently 4:50pm and we are at my parents evening. " NAOMI!!" Charlotte. She literally throws herself into my arms, luckily we are early so there aren't many people here yet. " Naomi is on track to get b's and A's in her exams if she keeps studying the way she has been for just another couple of weeks." Mrs Roberts.  " Naomi always brings 100% in lessons she could definitely get a distinction of not a distinction*" Mrs Broadhead. " Naomi and her friends are a pleasure to teach and even though they're friends when they are in class they are always on their best behaviour." Miss Smith. " Not only have I had the pleasure of teaching her science which she is good at she knows where her weakness lies and she's trying her hardest and that's all we can ask I am also the teacher supervising the study hall and she is behaving in the study hall too." Mr Scott. " Naomi is just a pleasure to teach.... That's all I've got. Oh wait her and her friends." Mr Graham. Once we're done we head outside and Charlotte comes running up behind me. " How did it go?" Charlotte. " Really well I think I've got this." Naomi." Well Uhmm hello I could have told you that." Charlotte. " I'll see you tomorrow." Naomi. Once we get home I'm about to go upstairs when mum says " I'm really proud of you Naomi, just keep it up a little longer you and Charlotte will be able to spend everyday together soon. Just get through these exams." Sarah." Thanks mum I know your right you always are I just wish time would hurry up." Naomi. On Friday night when we get home mum worked the morning shift so she was home and she was helping us bake some things for Charlie's house tomorrow. Mum and Nick make cupcakes whilst me and mum make brownies. Whilst they are baking in the oven me and Nick go and get our bags ready for tomorrow. Mum takes them out the oven whilst we are still busy with our bags, once there cooled she shouts us both down to decorate the cupcakes. Nick somehow manages to spill some icing it gets knocked up in the air and lands all over me and mum. " Oh Nicky can you please be careful." Sarah. " If this blue icing doesn't come out of my hair or of my skin I'm gonna.... not finish that sentence." Naomi. " Well thats all the cupcakes decorated why don't we both go and get showered?" Sarah. " I'm then going to bed, we will have so much fun tomorrow its going to be a longgg day." Naomi. On Saturday mum is at work all day so me and Nick get ready and head round to Charlie's about 2pm. " Hi." Nick&Naomi. " Hi." Charlie&Charlotte. Me and Charlotte hug whilst Nick and Charlie hug. " I brought cupcakes." Nick. " And I've got brownies." Naomi. " We have a snack table you can put them on." Charlotte. " Between them  they bought the whole of tesco snack aisle." Tori. " Will you stop going on about that, we didn't buy that much." Charlie. A little while later Tao, Elle, Tara, Darcy and Isaac knock at the door we all sit around the table in the room. We're all talking about different things. " You know if we told Tao and Isaac now we could show our love like Tara and Darcy are doing?" Charlotte. " I think.... we should do it, everyone will help us if we get stuck." Naomi. Doorbell. " Oh." Isaac. " Whos that?" Naomi. " Did somebody deliver something?" Tao. " Did we invite someone else." Tara. " Hi." Imogen. " Imogen." All. " Come in, come in let me show you where to put your bags." Charlie. " I'm sure Charlie or Charlotte will give you a tour." Nick. " Yeah uhmmm I can handle the tour whilst you take Imogens bags to the others." Charlotte. " We've got loads of snacks in there..." Charlotte. " I'm so excited." Imogen. " Does she know about you two yet?" Tara. " No not yet... I'm going to tell her today. And we also invited her because she messaged me and said it was awkward between her and a certain other Nelson." Nick. " I knew there was an ulterior motive today I should have stuck to my gut." Naomi. " Well this got awkward quickly." Tara. " In response to the whole telling Imogen it'll be fine, she's an ally." Darcy. " And that concludes the tour. What did we miss?" Charlotte. " Nothing that important." Naomi. I head into the kitchen to get my self a drink. I turn around to see Imogen stood there. " What happened between me and you,  we used to be a trio you,me and Nick." Imogen. " You got a crush on my brother and it made me feel wierd." Naomi. " But I dont like Nick anymore I actually have a boyfriend." Imogen. " You have to tell me who now." Naomi. " If anything happens I'll tell you, just give me a chance?" Imogen. " I guess so as long as you don't start making it wierd again." Naomi. " Me and Nick are just friends i promise." Imogen. We head into the living room to everyone else. " Are you two going to play nice?" Nick. " Maybeee, thankyou for being my big meddling brother, but don't do it again i can figure stuff out on my own." Naomi. After a while Nick, Charlie and Imogen head into the kitchen, Elle and Tao head out to the back garden. " Isaac there's something you need to know, me and Charlotte are together. We have been for a while we've just not told anyone before now the girls know not Imogen obviously and Nick and Charlie know. We are telling Tao just when the time is right. We were going to tell you earlier but Imogen turned up." Naomi. " That went on for a while... look I don't  care as long as all my friends are happy and I have my books." Isaac. " With that settled, GUYS WE'RE ORDERING PIZZA!!" Tara. Once we have everyone's orders we get the pizza and dance whilst we wait. I say we dance Tara, Darcy Elle and Imogen dance, Isaac is reading his book me and Charlotte are sat in the chair next to him whilst Nick and Charlie are sat on the sofa there's an empty spot where Imogen used to sit and Elle had come in from the back garden, Tao was still out there. Doorbell. " Omg finally pizaaaa." Imogen. Charlotte and Imogen run to the front door whilst the other three girls all start whisper shouting at Nick " Tell her, you need to tell her." Tara,Darcy&Elle. Nick decides not to do that and goes out to the back garden to Tao. When they finally come back in we eat pizza before watching a movie. " Charlie can I use your bathroom?" Imogen. " Yeah sure." Charlie. " I'll show you where it is." Nick. He lets Imogen go first so once she's gone out the door, " Tell her." All. After a couple of hours we all settle down and get ready to fall asleep. The next day we all get ready to leave and each of us say goodbye to one another. " I'll see you at the bus stop outside Truham in the morning." Naomi. " Yeah I'll see you then for another week in hell." Charlotte. Everyone gets to the street and we are all just waiting for Nick and Charlie to say their goodbyes. Tao eventually clears his throat very dramatically. " I can't believe people think he's straight." Darcy. We all split up and me and Nick walk home, we are just on our street when I get a message from Charlotte.
Charlotte Spring:
So Charlie just told his parents about him and Nick, Nicks not aloud over for sleepovers anymore. As a matter of fact your not allowed either technically, I so need to get my own place as soon as exams are over. I get my inheritance from my mum then anyways. I'll see you in the morning.
