Episode 6

I got carried away so this chapter is a little longer than usual. Sorry for the late upload I've been very busy with work. I will try and get the next chapter published in 4 days depends how tomorrow goes. Sorry for any mistakes haven't had time to proof read this.
Naomi's pov:
It gets closer to 5pm so we all head towards the coach, once we arrive we get on and see that Nick and Charlie still aren't here yet. It gets to 5 to and everyone is here apart from Nick and Charlie, Mr Farouk does a head count. " We're still missing two students." Mr Farouk. " Does anyone know who we are missing?" Mr Ajayi. " It's Nick and Charlie sir." Naomi. " Well they still have a couple of minutes." Mr Ajayi. They get to the coach with a minute to spare. " You two are cutting it fine, find your seats." Mr Farouk. Charlotte moves out of her seat and onto the seat next to me, Nick doesn't look okay i text him because its the only way im gonna be able to get anything out of him, he doesn't respond so i ask Charlie the silent question which he nods at. We head somewhere for dinner before going back to the hotel. We were supposed to go to our rooms but all the girls just cram into one room. We play some music quietly whilst scrolling on our phones. I look at the pictures that I took throughout the day. " I-I have something to say." Elle. We all put down our phones and turn our attention to Elle. " Me and Tao... We kissed." Elle. We all scream and hug Elle tightly. " Omg you have to tell us everything!!" Darcy. " Darcy volume down." Tara. " I'm so proud of you... both." Naomi. " So what happened??" Charlotte. " It was when we were at the Louvre, we were talking and I just went for it, and I thought it was a mistake." Elle. " But it wasn't a mistake!" Sahar. " And then we kissed again, this time he kissed me, and then the third kiss was, like, amazing." Elle. " Three times?" Tara. " Ohhh this is the best thing that's ever happened!" Darcy. " What does this mean for you both?" Naomi. " I dont know we didn't really get a chance to talk." Elle. " You have to ask him to be your boyfriend. I'm sure he'll say yes." Darcy. " I dont know. It's.... it's too..... too soon." Elle. During this my phone chimes signaling I have a message.
Charlie Spring 💛
We should all explore the hotel.
" Omg girls look." Naomi. I show them my phone. " Come on." Charlotte. " Should we go?" Elle. " Lets go." Darcy. We all sneak out into the hallway keeping an eye out for the teachers. Tao and Elle go off together, Nick and Charlie, Darcy and Sahar, Tara and Isaac and me and Charlotte. Imogen was with her friends in their room. We find a hidden spot. " How do we process what happened today?" Charlotte. " We get through it together, we have the Paris Squad as long as we stay together and we lean on eachother, we will be okay." Naomi. She leans in for a kiss and we get caught up in the moment before my phone starts blaring. " What?" Naomi. " Me and Charlie got caught by the teachers come back to Elle, Tara, Darcy and Sahar's room, oh and dont get caught." Nick. I grab Charlotte's arm lightly and we make our way back to the room keeping an eye out for Mr Farouk and Mr Ajayi. When we get to the room everyone else is already there. " We thought you got caught." Charlie. " No whats going on?" Charlotte. " Me and Charlie got caught by the teachers, and there have been too many secrets in this group lately." Nick. " I dont know what you're talking about." Naomi. " Well Tao and Elle deserve to know what happened earlier." Charlie. " Plus they will have seen the story." Darcy. " Not another word. Sorry Naomi." Tara. " Whats this about?" Nick. " Tao, Isaac there's something you two need to know. Everyone else does, I uhmmm I wanted to tell you this morning when I told the girls but uhmmm you weren't awake. I'm guessing you both have questions about last night, and Tao im sure you saw the story. B-Ben-" Naomi. "- You're not making any sense, you can tell us." Tao. " B-Ben Hope you saw his story before we came to Paris right? The one about me and him. It wasn't true... not all of it. The night of Harry's birthday party we weren't really friends then but that night he.... Ben he..... r- r@ped me." Naomi. " I thought that only happened in movies or something." Tao. " That is very insensitive, I'm sorry Naomi." Isaac. " He gets like this, just ignore him and you zip it." Elle. " Can I just ask one question, that isn't that." Tao. " Depends on what's it is?" Charlotte. " What do me and Elle need to know about Charlie?" Tao. " Earlier at the Louvre, after you two left the group I fainted." Charlie. " What? Why?" Tao. " What happened?" Elle. " I just hadn't eaten breakfast, and it was hot, and we had done the Eiffel tower in the morning." Charlie. " Thats why we weren't with the group when you guys came back, Mr Ajayi told him to rest and let me stay with him." Nick. " But you didn't did you? Because you two barely made it back to the coach on time, so where were you?" Charlotte. " That doesn't matter." Charlie. " No secrest remember?" Naomi. " We went to meet up with Dad, I've been trying to arrange it all week. I wanted to introduce Charlie to him." Nick. " Wait why is that bad?" Tara. " Naomi and their Dad dont really get along." Darcy. " How did it go? Like always I presume?" Naomi. " You might hate him but I dont, he's still my dad." Nick. " You know why we don't get along, you're the only one that does know." Naomi. I storm out of the girls room and into my own i need to calm myself down and right now being away from Nick is the best way. I see Imogen walking towards the other room, I had the key so I let her in with me atleast I wasn't on my own and she could go and get Charlotte if I needed her to. I grab my headphones and phone and get under the covers and watch YouTube on my phone. A while later I feel a hand on my shoulder I look to see Charlotte stood there I nod and she walks round the other side of the bed and I put my phone to charge overnight and turns off my headphones. She gets under the covers and we go to sleep, I'll deal with Nick in the morning.
The next morning still Naomi's pov:
Everyone was up and ready for that day we were all about to head down for breakfast though we were abit early. There was a knock at the door, Imogen went to answer it and it was the boys. " Mimmi, can we talk?" Nick. I look from Charlotte who is stood next to me to Nick to Charlie. " Can you guys give us a bit?" Naomi. " We can go next door, come and get us if you need us, dont forget Tara's present." Charlotte. They leave and Nick comes in. " I know you and Dad dont get along but he's still my dad. I hate him for what he's said to you in the past and how he makes you feel and I will always stand up to him for you. I just wanted to introduce Charlie to him and amidst all the chaos I didn't get to tell you he's coming to London for a business trip next week." Nick. " I'm not going to ask you to stop seeing him he's your dad like you said I just hope it doesn't come back to bite you. Come on lets get down for breakfast im starving." Naomi. " Dont do that. Pretending everythings okay your aloud to be mad." Nick. " Its the last day and Tara's birthday can we please just forget it." Naomi. Me and Nick go next door to get everyone else and head down for breakfast. After breakfast we all give Tara her birthday cards and presents and sing happy birthday. "Happy Birthday dear Tara,happy birthday too you. Whoooooo." All. She opens Darcy's present last and as she opens it I know exactly what it is. " Oh my god." Isaac. " She didn't." Charlotte. " Oh but she did." Naomi. It was a hoodie with Darcy's face all over it. " Oh my god that is something." Nick. " Wow. That is something." Charlie. " It's a Darcy present. Thanks I hate it." Tara. " I knew you would. Um.... I'm sorry for being, you know, not a very good girlfriend recently. I'm gonna make it up to you. I've got plans. Big plans." Darcy. " Why does that scare me so much??" Naomi. Everyone around us has fallen back into conversation with each other not really listening to the rest of this conversation. We all get the chance to explore Paris today in our own little groups. We get photos and videos we also mess with Imogen we thought it would be fun for us all to pick her up whilst Tara took a photo obviously Imogen didn't really like that and was screaming at us to "put her down." Imogen. Tao Elle and Charlie have arranged for us to go to a books store for Isaac. We are all picking out different books and I see Nick taking photos of Charlie, Charlie putting books up in front of his face clearly annoyed with Nick for taking the selfies. I pick up a couple of puzzle books whilst Charlotte picks up this book that she's been after for weeks. I see Isaac struggling to carry a massive pile of books and wonder how he is going to transport all this home, regardless I go up to him and take some books helping him to the checkout. We all walk and get photos near the Notre dam. Eventually come across this street which is kitted out with rainbow merchandise and everyone on this street can be themselves I hope that can be us one day. We get food before spending the afternoon touring Paris eventually going to the hotel around 5:00 p.m. to get ready for the surprise party for Tara. " Imogen are you two coming we don't have long before Elle is bringing Tara back to the room." Naomi. " Yeah I'm coming I'm just trying to find.... found it." Imogen. "Darcyyy, how you feeling about tonight? You ready for the partyyyy?" Charlotte. " Will you calm down please.... honestly." Naomi. " We have arrived." Tao. " Oh my days will you please stop with that voice." Isaac. " How long has he been doing that?" Naomi. " Too long, I'm fed up with it I'm going to read my book on the balcony." Isaac. " Taooo where's Nick and Charlie?" Darcy. " They're still getting ready, they're running a little bit late." Tao. " And we all know what that meansss." Charlotte. "Oh.... Ewww... Gross why did you have to put that image in my head?" Naomi. " Well Tara's gonna be here soon so they better hurry up." Darcy. A little bit later there's a knock at the door Darcy answers it. " Finally." Darcy. She pulls them in so fast and so hard that they almost fall to the floor I catch Nick whilst Charlotte catches charlie. " You did all of this?" Charlie. " Yeah. Everything has to be perfect for Tara. She's a princess." Darcy. There is another knock on the door. " Okay shhhh, they're about to bring her in." Darcy. The music suddenly comes to a stop, everyone turns to the door ready to surprise Tara. " SURPRISE!!!" All. We shout this at the same time that the door opens and reveals Tara Elle and Sahar. Tara looks utterly shocked she did not have a clue. Tara runs to hug Darcy. " Thanks everyone." Tara. "Ohhh." Darcy. Darcy pulls out a bottle of vodka where did she get that from? Everyone seems excited but I just had a look of horror and no we are thinking the same thing oh no, this could get out of hand very quickly. Tara starts hugging people whilst Darcy starts handing out the alcohol. I see tao and Elle head to the bathroom, Darcy comes around asking if any of us want alcohol I say no but of course Charlotte says yes. " Looks like you're gonna be looking after her tonight." Louis. " Yeah tell me about it how do you know who I am?" Naomi. " Sorry forgive me I'm Louis your Nick's twin right?" Louis. " Yeah that's right?" Naomi. " He talks about you all the time you're quite popular at Truham even though you don't go there. Everyone calls you the Nelson twins." Louis. " Yeah I've heard someone say that before." Naomi. " Louis what are you doing? leave her alone..... sorry." Holly. " You took the photo for us yesterday didn't you?" Naomi. " I did yeah Louis come on leave her alone." Holly. " Bye nice to meet you." Naomi. I see Charlie go towards the bathroom, this could be fun. Isaac doesn't seem himself, but everytime I try and talk to him he shuts me out. He gets up and leaves. I head out after him. " Isaac are you okay?" Naomi. " Yeah I'm fine I just want to read my book a bit. It's too loud at the party." Isaac. " We are all a friend group now Isaac and you're not ok, I can tell even if i don't really know you." Naomi. " I'm just figuring some stuff out and I'm not ready to talk about it please just go back to the party." Isaac. " I'm not leaving you alone you dont have to talk to me about whatever it is we can talk about something else." Naomi. " NAOMI, PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!" Isaac. He storms off down the corridor, how come I tried to help and made it 10× worse. I head back to the party mainly to get someone else to go find him. I find James. " Hey have you seen Isaac?" James. " I tried to help but made it worse he went down that corridor after shouting at me go to him he needs you." Naomi. He looks at me like he doesn't really believe me but eventually goes in the opposite direction to find Isaac I'm guessing. I'm back at the party mainly hanging back i see Isaac come back in but he seems the same, guessing James couldn't get through to him either I need to talk to Elle, Tao or Charlie. Charlotte is 3 sheets to the wind. I see Tara dancing towards the door, as more and more people go over to the door the music gets quieter. " What do you mean no I invite you to my party." Harry. " Yeah well no homophobes at my birthday party." Tara. " Yeah leave." Darcy. " No..... what come on, man. Everyone's here. Can I not just talk to Nick and Charlie?" Harry. " No they don't want to talk to you!!" Naomi. " What do you mean they don't want to talk to me?" Harry. Nick and Charlie make their way towards the front of the crowd with Tara and Darcy. " What do you want?" Nick. " Look. I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I know I've said some homophobic stuff in the past, but I feel like I know better now, and I'll never say anything like that again. So.... we cool? Can we come in?" Harry. The room fall silent all eyes on Nick and Charlie. " No!" Charlie. He slams the door in Harry's face, I could not be more proud. I made sure to record it for Charlotte because I know she isn't going to remember anything in the morning. " Woo-hoo! Charlie!" Darcy. Everyone of us goes to hug Charlie as we make our way back into the centre of the room. " Come on, everyone. Let's keep partying. Everyone, dance!" Tara. Nick looks so proud of Charlie, its only then that I see Ben Hope. I did not know he was here. Everyone goes back to dancing, Sahar is stood not that far away from me. " I'm just going to use our bathroom." Naomi. She nods and I leave, luckily I have the key. As the doors just about to close it hits something I turn around to see a foot in the doorway. I start pushing the door to close whilst whoever is on the other side starts pushing it open. " Naomi! I just want to talk." Ben. My whole world comes crashing down around me, I have to think fast to protect myself. I run for the bathroom door, slamming it shut and locking it. " I know its not enough but I am sorry for what I did. I was an ass and if I could go back and redo that night differently I would. I did love Charlie before you and your brother came on the scene. I know I dont deserve it but one day I would like you to forgive me, not anytime soon but one day." Ben. Is he for real, forgive him? He's lucky I didn't go to the police. I dont come out of the bathroom because I don't hear him leave so now im trapped with no phone. Great.
Nicks pov:
" Its time.... for..... truth or dare!!" Darcy. Everyone sits down and I look around and check that the whole Paris sqaud is here, another bad habit I've started doing. It hits me all of a sudden Naomi's not here. " Wait guys does anyone know where Naomi is?" Nick. " She told me she was going to the bathroom, that was a while ago." Sahar. " Charlie look after Charlotte, Isaac you come with me." Nick. " I dont think that's a very good idea, we uhmmmm had words." Isaac. " Okay Tao, Elle will one of you two come with me?" Nick. " I will Tao can stay here and help Charlie." Elle. We both head next door, Sahar had the spare key thank god. When we get there I swing the door open and i'm face to face with Ben. " What are you doing here?" Nick. " I dont want any trouble." Ben. " Wheres Naomi?" Elle. " You better not have touched her even slightly." Nick. " I haven't touched her she locked herself in the bathroom." Ben. " Naomi, let us in." Elle. " Get out now." Nick. I throw Ben out of the room and make sure the doors locked, I walk back towards Elle. " Mimmi please open the door, he's gone it just me and Elle out here." Nick. I hear the lock to the door click and as I open the door I see Naomi curled into a ball as close to the sink as she can get. I walk over to her scoop her up and carry her out of the bathroom and sit on the bed with her on my lap, she's having a panic attack.
I rub circles on her back whilst Elle runs her fingers through her hair. I push her head to my chest. " Listen to my heartbeat and focus on my breathing." Nick. " I'll go the vending machine, get her some water." Elle. I just sit in silence holding my sister as close to me as she can possibly be. Elle comes back and I let Naomi take sips of the water. After around 10 minutes she's stopped shaking and her breathing has evened out. " Hi, you feeling better?" Nick. " A bit, he was here, where is he?" Naomi. She starts looking around the room and starts to panic again. " Hes not here Naomi, your safe its just me and Nick." Elle. " I threw him out a while ago, you ready to go back to the party?" Nick. " B-but what if he's still there?" Naomi. " You can sit in between me and Charlie, or Charlie and Charlotte, or me and Charlotte." Nick. " Or me and Tao can move and you can sit in between me and Nick." Elle. " Do you mind if we do that? Charlotte's drunk dont think she'll be much help." Naomi. " Of course, come on." Elle. " Are you alright to stand and walk?" Nick. She nods her head at me, Elle links their arms whilst I grab her hand and we go back next door. " You guys were gone a while, everything alright?" Tara. " Yeah we just had to deal with something." Nick. We rearrange so that Naomi is sat inbetween me and Elle. " We're playing truth or dare, Naomi you in?" Darcy. " No I think I'll just watch the chaos, thanks." Naomi. After a couple of rounds the bottle lands on Tao. " Obviously dare." Tao. " I dare you to kiss anyone in this room." Louis. He look towards Charlie straight away. " Charlieeee!" Tao. Everyone cheers. " Come on I know you've loved me for years." Tao. Tao makes his way towards Charlie everyone cheering. We spin the bottle again this time it lands on Charlie. " Do a dare Charlie." Darcy. " Okay." Charlie. " I dare Charlie to kiss..... James." Millie. " you're only saying that because of the hickey rumour and, it wasn't James." Charlie. " Yeah, well, I dont care so." James. " Fine I dare Charlie to kiss.... Ben." Millie.Well They're a bit of a bitch. " Come on. like, they've literally..."Tara. " We've literally just broken up." Imogen. " Come on its just a dare." Millie." No, no way." Charlie. " That isn't even funny, I barely know Charlie." Ben. " Dont be boring." Julie. " Its just a game." George. " Guys just leave them alone." Holly. " They said no." Louis. " This game is so stupid. I'm tired anyway." Ben. He gets up to storm out Nick and Charlie parting ways to let him through. " Can I do a truth instead?" Charlie. " Okay then, who gave you the hickey?" Millie.  "What, can we just move on from this?" Elle. " This game gets so intruding." Naomi. " Its too personal, someone might get outed." Tara. " Whats the point of truth or dare if we're aloud to keep secrets?" Millie. " Some people play this game with fun truths and dares, not personal ones." Naomi. Everyone is in upraw people talking over each other and getting very personal with their insults. I look at Nick and Charlie and see Nicks face I know whats coming. " I know who it was." Nick. Everyone stops talking and all attention is drawn to Nick, Charlie turns his head to look at Nick sa fast I dont know how that boy didn't get whiplash. Nick takes Charlie's hand and intertwines their fingers. " Me, we're dating." Nick. "Oh my god, I called it." Archie. " Thats really cute." Holly. " It was him? Nick?" George. " How long have you been going out?" Louis. " A few months." Charlie. " We were saying the other day." Archie. " I never would have guessed Nick was gay." Millie. " Im bi actually." Nick. " He's bi actually." Charlie. Thry both say this together making me, Tara and Elle laugh. " Do you want us to keep it a secret?" James. " We're okay with people knowing." Nick. " I'm sorry to ruin this very lovely moment, but I think I'm going to be sick." Darcy. We all look at each other before standing up and running to the teachers room. We leave Charlotte with Imogen, Sahar and Isaac, if they saw Charlotte they would instantly know. " Mr Farouk!!" Tara. " Whats happening?" Mr Ajayi. " We think Darcy has food poisoning." Naomi. " She feels sick." Charlie. " Come in all of you." Mr Ajayi. " Im going to pretend I believe you have food poisoning." Mr Farouk. " Just try and take some deep breaths, I'll get you a sick bag." Mr Ajayi. Its too late Darcy throws up all over the bed. " Why did I get into teaching?" Mr farouk. " All of you go back to your rooms except Tara and Darcy." Mr Ajayi. We all head back and its decided that most people will sleep in the girls room. Nick and Charlie decide to go sleep in the boys room and Nick carries Charlotte next door, looks like I'm getting no sleep tonight.
