There was a knock at the door. "Quick, Tepig, return," said Liv. "Yes, come in," she called out. The door opened, and Arwen walked in. "Hey, Arwen," greeted Liv. "Hello, Liv," Arwen replied with a smile. "How was your training?" Arwen inquired. "Pretty good," Liv replied. "What do you feel like doing?" she asked Arwen. "I don't know, what do you like to do for fun?" Arwen returned the question. "Oh wait, I think I brought a deck of cards with me," Liv remembered. "I don't know how to play cards," confessed Arwen. "Don't worry, I'll teach you," Liv assured her. The two of them sat at the table, and Liv explained the game to Arwen. While playing, they discussed the hobbits' antics at the strategy meeting. "My father told me that the Fellowship leaves tomorrow," Arwen mentioned. "Yeah, I know. I'm kind of nervous," admitted Liv. "What are you nervous about?" Arwen asked curiously. "What if I don't do a good job?" Liv expressed her worry. "You will. I have faith in you," Arwen reassured, pulling Liv into a comforting hug. "I will miss you," Liv said softly. "I will miss you too. You're like the best friend I never had," Arwen replied warmly. They continued playing for hours, chatting and laughing until it was dark outside. "You should get some sleep," Arwen suggested. "Wait, do you want to have a sleepover?" Liv proposed excitedly. "I've never had a sleepover before," Arwen admitted. "Come on, it will be fun," Liv encouraged. "Sounds like fun," Arwen agreed with a smile. "I have to go back home to get a few things, so we'll meet back here," Liv said as Arwen left the room.Liv then left her room and made her way towards the main entrance. Checking to ensure no one was around, she pulled out her morpher. "Symbol power, horse," she commanded, summoning her horse, Snowflake. "Hey, Snowflake," greeted Liv as she mounted her horse. With a gentle kick, Snowflake started walking towards Liv's house.Upon arriving, Liv instructed Snowflake to wait outside as she stealthily entered her house through the garage. She quickly gathered DVDs, popcorn, her laptop with a DVD player, and some poke balls, then returned outside and mounted Snowflake again. They rode back to Rivendell, where Liv ensured they weren't seen before returning to her room, where Arwen awaited her."Did you get everything you needed?" Arwen asked. "Yeah, it was risky, though," Liv admitted. "What do you mean by risky?" Arwen inquired. "If my parents caught me sneaking in, they would have grounded me for who knows how long," Liv explained. "So, what do you want to do first?" Arwen asked. "I have no idea," Liv replied. "What if we chat for a little while?" Arwen suggested. "Chat about what?" Liv asked. "What do you like to do other than reading?" Arwen prompted. "Well, I like music," Liv replied. "You're into music?" Arwen asked with interest. "Yeah, I love it," Liv confirmed. "Do you like music?" she asked Arwen. "Well, I sing a little bit," Arwen admitted. "What kind of music do you listen to?" Liv asked. "Mainly classical," Arwen replied. "What about you?" she inquired. "Mostly classical, pop, and sometimes rock music," Liv answered. "Do you want to listen to some music?" she suggested. "That's a good idea. Do you have a device that can play music?" Arwen asked. "Yeah, I have my iPod," Liv replied, retrieving it from the nightstand and selecting a song."This song is a classic," Liv commented as she played "Don't Stop Believing." "What's it called?" Arwen asked. "Don't Stop Believing," Liv replied, turning up the volume. "You know, I'm actually learning this song on the piano," Liv revealed. "You play piano?" Arwen asked in surprise. "Yeah, I've been playing since I was 5 or 6," Liv replied. "I would love to hear you play sometime," Arwen expressed her interest. "Maybe if you ever come by my house," Liv suggested with a smile.
"Do you feel like doing something else?" asked Liv."Sure, what do you feel like doing?" asked Arwen."We could build a pillow fort," Liv suggested."What's a pillow fort?" asked Arwen curiously."You know how you build a fort out of snow?" Liv began to explain."Of course," Arwen nodded."Well, it's the same thing, only with pillows instead of snow," Liv clarified."Sounds like fun," Arwen agreed with a smile. The two of them started piling pillows on top of each other to build a fort."You missed one," Arwen pointed out."Oops, my bad," Liv replied, playfully throwing the pillow at Arwen."What was that for?" Arwen laughed, throwing a pillow back at Liv."Pillow fight!" Liv declared with a grin.Arwen joined in, and soon they were both giggling and tossing pillows at each other until they heard a knock at the door."Yes, come in," said Liv. The door opened, and Legolas walked in."I heard noise and thought something happened to you, so I thought I would make sure you were alright," explained Legolas."I'm fine, don't worry. Arwen and I were just fooling around," Liv assured him. Legolas nodded and left the room."That was close," Liv sighed in relief."Yes, it was," Arwen agreed with a chuckle."Oh crap, I forgot to feed Tepig," Liv realized suddenly."Is everything alright?" asked Arwen, concerned."Yeah, I just forgot to do something," Liv replied, walking over to the dresser to retrieve Tepig's pokeball."What did you forget to do?" Arwen inquired."Promise you won't freak out," Liv requested."I promise," Arwen assured her. Liv released Tepig from his pokeball, and the Pokémon greeted his trainer happily. When Tepig noticed Arwen, he hid behind Liv's legs."Liv, what's that animal?" Arwen asked, surprised."Oh, this is Tepig, my partner," Liv explained. "Come on out, Tepig, she's not going to hurt you," she encouraged him. Tepig slowly emerged and Arwen observed him cautiously."Does it bite?" Arwen asked nervously."No, he's super friendly," Liv reassured her, patting Tepig on the head. She then proceeded to feed him."So, you have a pet pig?" Arwen questioned."Well, not just any pig. He's Tepig, the fire pig Pokémon," Liv clarified."I've heard about Pokémon. You catch them and battle with them, right?" Arwen asked, intrigued."Yeah, new trainers can choose from three Pokémon," Liv explained."Which one did you choose?" Arwen wondered."I chose Tepig. I mean, come on, he's so adorable," Liv replied with a smile."I have to agree with you on that one," Arwen chuckled."So, what regions have you traveled to?" Arwen asked curiously."Kanto and Unova," Liv replied, and Arwen nodded in understanding."Do you feel like doing something else?" Liv asked."What do you want to do?" Arwen returned the question."Do you want to watch a movie?" Liv suggested."What movie are you thinking of?" Arwen inquired."I brought a bunch with me, so we could have options," Liv replied, retrieving the DVDs, laptop, and popcorn from her bag."We could watch 'The Little Mermaid'," Liv suggested."I've never seen it," Arwen admitted."So, why not watch it now?" Liv proposed."Good idea," Arwen agreed. Liv set up the movie while Tepig curled up next to her, and they all watched 'The Little Mermaid' together. After the movie ended, Arwen got up to prepare for bed."The movie was so good," Arwen commented."I know, right? It's probably my favorite Disney movie of all time," Liv replied with a smile."We should get some sleep since the Fellowship is leaving tomorrow," Arwen suggested."Good idea," Liv agreed, getting into bed."Goodnight," Arwen said as she settled into her sleeping bag."Goodnight," Liv replied, and they both drifted off to sleep.
