As all the teams were rowing their boats to where they need to meet up, with Team Pyro, Scarlett and Silas, Scarlett and Priya were helping with steering the boat, as the waves gradually started to become bumpy.
"Whoa...steady...steady..." Scarlett said as she tried to steer the boat by moving the motor's tiller to help steer the boat so it doesn't got off course.
However, the bumpy waves that kept moving the boat around was causing Priya to become nauseous, as she held her stomach and felt her face turning green, indicating that she was getting sea sick.
"Priya, are you okay?" Silas asked as he became concerned for Priya. "What's wrong?"
"It's the waves...I think they're making me sea sick..." Priya said weakly as she tried her hardest not to throw up, but the waves proved to be difficult for her, as she leaned over the boat and puked.
"Disgusting..." Scarlett said as she watched Priya puke over the boat. "Maybe it's best you leave the steering to me. I don't want to risk you barfing on me while I'm steering."
So Priya then moved over to another side of the boat to rest, while Scarlett focused on steering the boat. Meanwhile, Mateo was staying close to Silas to help soothe him and not pay attention to his fear of water.
Just then, Mateo noticed some black dorsal fins swimming past him and the boat as he started to become cautious and cling to Silas. "What was that!? Was that a shark!?" Mateo asked in fear as he clung to Silas. "Have they come for me!?!"
Silas took a closer look at the dorsal fins and saw that they didn't come from sharks, but from that of orcas, as a whole pod began swimming to the surface and blew water out of their blowholes.
"Actually, they aren't sharks, they're orcas." Silas said as he watched in amazement at the orcas.
"You mean...Killer Whales?" Priya asked weakly as she felt herself gagging from seasickness.
"Yeah, but despite their alternate name, Orcas's aren't exactly whales, they're dolphins." Scarlett mentioned to Priya. "The largest one of them all in fact."
"They are?" Priya asked in confusion.
"Yeah, see how they have that dorsal fin on their back, whales don't have them." Silas said as he pointed to one of the orcas. "Dolphins however, do have dorsal fins, but most people mistake them for whales due to their size and hunting style. But they were given the name as Killer Whale by ancient sailors who observed them."
"Wow, how do you know all that?" Priya asked as she was surprised by this information.
"My Uncle Tom was once a fisherman and marine biologist, but he chose to become a farmer after he lost his leg to a shark." Silas mentioned. "Had a fear of them ever since and didn't want to go back to the ocean again."
"Ouch, I know that feeling..." Mateo said as he sympathized with Silas's uncle. "Still, it's interesting that you got all this information from him."
"Thanks, he'd sometimes tell me about these facts before I went to bed or whenever I visit him, Lauren and Aunt Lisa." Silas mentioned as he smiled a bit.
"Hmm, maybe if I focus on the orcas, maybe my brain won't focus on the sea too much or that I'm on a boat." Priya said to herself, but then felt herself becoming nauseous again. "Oh no, I think my brain heard me..."
As Priya leaned over and kept puking from sea sickness, an orca swam by their boat and blew some water from its blow hole, onto Scarlett, Priya, Silas and Mateo, causing them to be covered in water, with a few small sea creatures and seaweed.
Scarlett sighed as she was soaking wet and felt annoyed. "I hate my life..." Scarlett said as he eye twitched.
With Silas and Mateo, they were also drenched in water and Mateo noticed that a starfish was stuck on Silas's face and snickered a bit. "Hey, who turned out the lights?" Silas asked as he couldn't see anything.
