"GOD... WHO IS IT?.." You mumbled, squinting your eyes and stretching out to grab the buzzing phone. You felt Sae's arm tighten around your waist, almost like he was telling you to not go. His eyes were still closed while half of his face was stuffed by the pillow, his grip around your waist slowly tugging you closer. But you were barely able to reach for the phone as you picked it up. Bringing it to your ear before speaking.

"Hello?.."

"Yooo!! Is that who I think it is?! Y/N!!" Shidou's enthusiastic voice could be heard as you audibly groaned in disappointment. With him then yelling at you right after for the response you just did.

"What do you want, you're now disturbing my ears and slumber." Your voice was low and hoarse since you just woke up and didn't want to wake Sae up even more. Also, it was Shidou. You could really care less on what he thought.

"Sorry my majesty that thou has disturbed your beauty sleep! Well I don't know about beauty but!-"

"Get to the point already or I'm hanging up."

"Alright!.. Geez, grumpy ass..." He grumbled. You were about to hit the bright red 'end call' button till he started speaking once more.

"Can you tell my cutie patootie Sae that Ego wants to have a little chat with him?" Shidou asked in an obnoxiously high pitch voice. With you then cringing as he called him his 'cutie patootie Sae.' You felt your thumb twitch right above the button.

"I mean.. Sure? But then why did you call me? And not Sae himself?.." You were a bit confused as in why he wanted you to be his little messenger when he clearly had his number.

Coincidently talking about Sae, you felt his face push against your back. You laying on your side as he grips his hand tighter around your waist, almost like he was telling you to come back to him.

A small smile appeared on your face as you looked back at him and saw the top of his head smushed into your back. But your smile faltered once you remembered who you were on call with.

"I did call Sae." Shidou simply said, answering your question normally for once. Your face scrunched up and visibly became even more confused. "No?.. You called me?"

"Check the phone Y/n," Not believing him you turned the phone around and looked at the case. And sure enough, it wasn't your phone..

"Wait.. What?.." You immediately felt your face heat up. Not only did you accidentally picked up on your boyfriends phone, but this meant you and Sae were in the same room. You also told Shidou that you had just woken up, and if he was smart enough to put two and two together he would've figured out you were in same bed.

"Oooh?~ Did you and Sae had a little too much fun last night?" Already feeling his smirk through the phone you roll your eyes.

"Speak one word of this and I'll genuinely curse and burn all of your Itoshi Sae merch." An immediate whine came from the phone as you said that. Before Shidou could yell at you any longer you hung up. Putting Sae's phone on do not disturb right after and placing the phone back down.

Sighing, you went back under the covers to your boyfriend. Facing him as his arms immediately latch onto you again and pulled you in even closer. He placed both of your foreheads together before slowly opening his eyes to see your face.

"Who?.." Sae mumbled, talking about who called this early. His slim teal eyes was carefully analyzing your face, his lips slightly parted almost like he was staring at you in awe.

"Shidou." You simply responded with before running your hand through his hair. He grumbled a bit before speaking again.

"Oh... That one striker who kept asking for my number?..." He asked again. His eyes squinting at you before blinking to adjust to the morning light. "Yeah, he wanted to tell you that Ego wants to talk to you."

Sae ticks his tongue at the mention of Ego and closes his eyes again, enjoying the feeling of your hand going through his hair. His cheek was squished against the pillow and his arm was wrapped around the curve of your waist before he gently tugged you closer to him. Wanting to hold you even closer, your bodies flushed against each other chest to chest. He rested his chin on top of your head while you nuzzled your face in the crook of his neck.

"Go back to sleep.." Sae whispered to you, his voice low and raspy. You nod before feeling a soft pair of lips kiss the top of your head. Smiling, you moved your head closer to his chest and was able to hear his soft heartbeat.

Laying there in the early morning together Sae's sleepiness managed to have spread on to you too. Feeling your eyelids become heavier with each moment you stayed with him. With each time his hand slowly rubbed over your back and each "I love you" that came from his lips had lulled you to sleep in his arms.

And you wouldn't have it any other way
