Absence
In The Absence of Light, Hope
As the light fades and darkness settles in,
Hope is the spark that warms my heart.
As the shadows envelope me,
I open my eyes to the brightness that is inside.
As I search for light, I embrace a new day.
In the absence of light, hope guides me
Through the darkest of shadows.
It reminds me of the beauty that waits for me.
