Chapter 42: Who is that?

-this and some of the chapters ahead will be written differently then normal.-

Jumping up from the warmth of my bed I gather a pair blue jeans and a pair of black socks and black top too. I found the team all sitting around the coffee table in the living room.

"Wisty come sit" tony gestured to me and the open spot next to him.

The news of Thanos and the looming threat to the universe reached the Avengers in a chilling and unexpected manner. It began with scattered reports of devastation across different galaxies, each incident more incomprehensible than the last.

I was sitting with the team when a holographic image of a distant planet flickered to life in the center of the room, hovering just over the coffee table. The image showed the aftermath of Thanos' brutal assault—cities reduced to rubble, civilizations decimated, and a sense of despair hanging in the air.

The team and I gathered around the holographic projection, the teams expressions shifting from curiosity to deep concern. The gravity of the situation became evident as they witnessed the power and ruthlessness of the Mad Titan. My blue-gray eyes narrowed, my mind already whirring with questions and calculations.

Tony Stark, ever the strategist, took the lead in explaining the dire circumstances. "We're dealing with a threat of cosmic proportions, folks," he declared, gesturing towards the holographic display. "Thanos is on a quest for the Infinity Stones, and if he gets his hands on all of them, well, the entire universe is in for a world of hurt."

I tried to listened intently as Stark went on to describe the potential consequences of Thanos' success, but the magnitude of the threat started to my my anxiety rise with every horrible word came out of Tony's mouth, I exchanged glances with the rest of the team, sensing the shared determination to stand against this formidable foe but the twinge of fear bubbling in their stomachs, was clear to read on their faces.

The holographic display shifted to show the locations of the Infinity Stones, each marked by a ominous glow. My mind raced as I contemplated the enormity of the task ahead. I knew that my abilities and my training with my weapons—would play a crucial role in the battle.

As the briefing continued, Cap's stern expression turned hard. "We're the Avengers, and we don't back down from a fight," he declared, a steely resolve in his eyes. "We need to find a way to stop Thanos before he lays waste to everything in his path."

I nodded in agreement, my stubborn determination fueling my commitment to the cause. The Avengers, a newfound family for me, were about to face a threat that transcended anything they had encountered before. The Battle of Earth and the journey to stop Thanos had just begun, and I was ready to bring this bitch down.
