Chapter 19 ~ the kiss..

I can't resist it and start stroking her hair with my hand. Her mouse face is so cute when she sleeps, butterflies fly around in my stomach and I can't help it but I smile the whole time.

POV Yoana:

Something starts to move beneath me, I wake up and feel a hand on me. That's not the only thing, I'm looking at a sweater and I notice that I'm lying on someone's lap. It's Pedri... I try to calmly grab my phone what is in my pocket, it's 7:00 in the morning. Today is Pedri's birthday! Gavi and Auri are nowhere to be seen, I think they are in Gavi's room.

I lift Pedri's arm and crawl out from his grip, I really don't understand how he could sleep like that. He literally sleeps in a sitting position. It's my fault, if I hadn't fallen asleep he wouldn't have to sleep in such a position. And also on his birthday. You know what, I grab a pillow and put it against the armrest of the couch. I gently grab the back of his head and lay it down on the pillow.

It's a bit of a struggle, because his body is quite heavy. He wakes up a little, but within a few seconds he is back to dream land. He's so cute when he sleeps. I kiss him softly on the forehead, let's just say it's a birthday present. I walk to my room and get ready for training. Gavi has decided that I should take Pedri somewhere right after training, so that he and the girls can get everything ready for the party. All FC Barcelona players are also helping. We only invited the players, his family and close friends, so I think it will be fun. But first training...

After training

I'm standing outside in the parking lot waiting for Pedri, why do I have to take him. Couldn't someone else do that, damn it Gavi. I've been waiting at Pedri's car for a while, half of the team is already gone. Not much later I see Pedri walking out of the building, he looks around. I think he's looking for Gavi and Ferran, but they've both already left to help with the party. He looks around all the time and stops when he sees me.

He starts walking towards me, "Hey uh, have you seen Gavi by any chance?" he asks, "No, but he just texted and said I had to come with you." "Oh, that's alright I think .'' He wants to get into the car, but I stop him. "No no wait, I'm driving." He looks at me, "You? You don't have a driver's license yet, do you?'' I start to grin, ''No, you're no-.'' He tries to say something but I'm already getting into the car and he reluctantly gets into the passenger seat. "Yoana, what if I die? I mean we." "Have faith, man. Can you give me the key.'' He gives the car key to me and I start the car.

I've spent hours thinking about where we could go and the only thing I could think of is a picnic on the beach. I thougt that he might be hungry after training so it seemed ideal. "Yoana, you know you took the wrong turn, right." "Yes, I know, I have a surprise for you." I drive into a parking lot and park the car. We get out and I walk to the trunk where all the picnic items are. I give him the basket and we walk to a area on the beach that Gavi and I had discovered. Nobody comes here, almost nobody knows this place either. So it's ideal, also Pedri cannot be recognized. "Wow, how did you discover this place?" Pedri asks, "Me and Gavi used to spend a lot of time outside, just walking around for hours doing nothing and then we found this."

I put towels down on the sand and put all the food on it, "Damn I am hungry," he says. "That's what I thought, eat as much as you want." He immediately starts eating, these boys aren't getting enough food or something. In the meantime I'm texting with Gavi about the party. Everything looks good, he sent photos and videos. The whole house is decorated, in- and outside. We have opened the large doors in the kitchen so that you can walk straight to the garden. Outside is everyhting decorated with all kinds of lights and in the middle are large number lamps. Next to those large lamps, there is of course the big and beautiful cake. There are high tables everywhere and inside it's full of food and we also have arranged a Photo Booth.

Suddenly my phone is ripped out of my hands, ''Hey! Give it back!'' ''What, you're on your phone all the time. It's my birthday, remember.'' He keeps holding it higher, I try to grab it but it doesn't work. I'm not that short either, my arms are just short okay. I jump again and almost caught it. But then I notice that our faces are only a few centimeters apart. Our noses are nearly touching, I can feel his breathing. I look into his brown eyes, his beautiful brown eyes. But I see that he's focused on my lips and now I'm focused on his too. His lips, so soft, so beautiful, so perfect... I just want to press my lips on his and feel his soft lips on mine.

The intensity between us is strong. Not a second later I feel his lips pressing on mine, they are so soft and they fit together perfectly. Butterflies fly around in my stomach. His tongue presses against my lips, I open my mouth and our tongues start a battle with each other. It feels like no one is around us, it feels like I'm in heaven. The passion... oh god, we stop for a second and put our foreheads together. We're both breathing very heavily and panting. "Happy Birthday." He starts to smile, "this is the best birthday present ever." The butterflies in my stomach appear again, do I have a chance with him now? Or is he just playing?

"Hey guys." We both look around and see Frenkie walking towards us. Oh yeah I completely forgot, he is now coming to take over from me. Cause I have to go home now to get ready. We stand a few steps apart as quickly as possible. "Um, I have to go now, can I have my phone back?" "Oh eh yeah, here." He gives me my phone, but our hands touch. We look into each other's eyes, ugh damn it. "Sorry, I really have to go now." Without looking at him, I take the phone from his hand and walk past Frenkie to the car.

But when I walk past Frenkie, he holds me back by my arm, "Yana is everything alright?" "Eh yeah yeah, I have to go home quickly." I pull out of his grasp, walk to the car and step in. I close the door and breathe a sigh of relief, what's wrong with me. Is this a sign? Does he like me anyway? Or is he just pretending... This is really giving me a headache, but god that felt good... Now I have to rush home and get changed, I swear I'm just going to steal his car. This car drives so well! But I'm afraid of his reaction to my gift, I got something and I don't know if he'll ever wear it. Because the situation between us is, as you know, a bit strange.

I start the car and drive home, where everyone is already busy preparing. But everything stands! We just have to add a few small details, everyone is now busy with getting themselves ready. Let's say the girls, Mikky has offered to help me. Because I really can't do make-up on myself, I just can't do it and I honestly don't wear it often. "Yana, I found this dress and I think you should wear it." Mikky says and she throws a red dress at me.

I look at it, it's a bit short. I put it on and stand in front of the mirror. I like it, but I feel a bit naked. A bit too naked, it's also quite tight so you can see my curves very well. I doubt it, but from the looks of Mikky she absolutely loves it. She's screaming and jumping up and down. ''GIRL IT SUITS YOU SO GOOD!'' ''Uh, are you sure? It's a little short.'' ''Girl, it looks great. It doesn't matter, Pedri certainly won't be able to take his eyes off you. Come on, I'll curl your hair a bit and then do your make-up.'' ''Fine..'' I think that part about Pedri persuaded me a bit to wear this dress. Mikky grabs a curling iron and starts curling my hair.
