Hannah continues to walk closer not taking her eyes off of the shadow that's staring right back at her.
Todd and Caleb follow close behind Hannah looking at the shadow that hasn't moved an inch since they first saw it.
"Hannah maybe we should tell the group" Caleb suggests getting an uneasy feeling about what's happening.
"Yeah Han we should go back" Todd looks at the opening of the dark alley.
Hannah doesn't say a word as she continues to walk closer until she stops about ten feet in front of the shadow. She tries to steady her breathing looking at the tall dark shadow in front of her.
"Watch her closer"
Hannah is shocked that the shadow just spoke but more so about what it just said. She immediately runs out of the alley with Caleb and Todd running after her.
"Hannah!"
"Slow down!"
"Where are you going?"
The boys continue to run after her not knowing where she's going until they recognize the street. Y/n's street.
Hannah stops in front of the Gordon house seeing the lights through the house flickering and the curtains opening and closing. She sees the open front door and runs towards it, when she's about to go in the door slams shut locking her out.
"Hello?"
"Y/n! I'm coming!"
Hannah yells to the scared voice of Y/n. Todd and Caleb follow behind her looking for something to use to get into the house with. Caleb sees a rock and grabs it throwing it through the front window. They three of them climb through the window carefully, once they're in the house they look around to see if they can find
Y/n.
The tree decide to split up with Todd going upstairs, Hannah going to the left of the house and Caleb going to the right.
Hannah walks through the house dodging the books that are being thrown around and the light bulbs that are shattering where she walks.
Todd walks towards Y/n's bedroom hoping she's in there and isn't hurt. He opens the door looking around, as he tries to leave the room the door slams shut locking him in.
"Hello!"
"Help!"
He yells trying to pull the door open but it won't budge. He sniffs the air smelling something burning. Turning around he sees the curtains on the window catching on fire.
"Caleb! Hannah! Hello!"
Todd begins to yell feeling the heat on his back. Now banging on the door he puts his ear to the door hearing a muffled scream.
"Caleb!"
Caleb walks down the hall seeing the walls start to change into melting wax. The picture frames begin to melt into the once wallpapered walls. He continues to walk at a fast pace until something grabs his ankle pulling him down to the floor. He kicks and screams for it to get off, looking down at his ankle he sees a large shadow wrapped around him.
"Todd! Hannah!"
Hannah walks past the mess on the floor looking around for any sign of Y/n knowing she's in here after hearing her scream earlier when she was trying to get into the house.
As she continues to walk into the kitchen the lights stop flickering and shattering and everything stays where it should be. Getting an uneasy feeling she steps forward looking out of the kitchen window with her eyes wide open at the view.
The outside is completely frozen with the birds stuck in one spot and the swaying trees completely frozen now. She turns to look into the kitchen now understanding why the house feels different.
The stereo starts playing a static sound echoing through the silent house.
"Todd! Caleb!"
Hannah calls from the kitchen hoping someone can hear her.
-Trying your best to save what you can't get-
Hannah's eyes snap to the stereo hearing a strained voice singing through the static.
"Where is she?" Hannah yells at the stereo.
-Trying to save what you can't control-
"Where is she?" Hannah yells louder getting frustrated with the static and crackling voice.
"Hannah!"
"Guys! I'm in the kitchen!" Hannah yells after hearing Todd's screaming voice.
