Y/n woke up the next morning determined to face Ned today. She avoided him at all costs thinking it was the right thing to do but she just hurt him.
Y/n makes her way downstairs after getting ready.
"Hey Buddy" Y/n says to Aiden smiling.
"Hi Auntie" Aiden says happily.
"Well good morning runaway bride" Melinda says laughing.
"Delia told you?" Y/n asks embarrassed.
Jim walks into the room drinking his coffee with his eyebrows raised.
"Delia told you what?" Jim asks Melinda confused.
"Y/n ran around town avoiding Ned, she ran into Eli knocking her onto the ground before running into the shop out of breath slamming the doors behind her before hiding" Melinda tells him laughing.
"All that to avoid Ned?" Jim asks smirking.
"I did something and I didn't want to face him" Y/n says sighing embarrassed.
"Yeah you kissed him before practically running away" Melinda says laughing.
"You kissed Ned?" Aiden asks confused.
"Buddy don't worry about that it's grown up stuff go play okay" Y/n says smiling at Aiden.
Aiden nods before running to go play with his toys.
Y/n looks at Melinda confused.
"How did you know I kissed Ned?" Y/n asks confused.
"Ned told Eli" Melinda says shrugging.
Later Y/n walks to the College looking for Eli wanting to talk to him about what Ned had said about what happened hoping to find out how he felt about the situation.
She walks up to his office door and knocks.
"Come in" Eli calls from inside the room.
She walks in and sees Eli but when he moves out of the way she sees Ned sitting on the couch.
Ned stands up quickly not expecting to see Y/n there.
"Y/n hi what can I do for you?" Eli asks looking between Ned and her seeing that they are looking away from each other nervously.
"If I'm interrupting I can leave" Y/n says nervously avoiding Neds eyes.
"No it's okay" Eli says smiling reassuringly.
Eli looks at them again before speaking.
"I'll leave you two to talk" Eli says walking towards the door and shutting it behind him.
Y/n takes a deep breath.
"I'm sorry" Y/n says sighing.
Ned looks up from the floor at Y/n surprised that she's talking.
"I panicked after I kissed you I've never done anything like that out of nowhere, I'm not used to people trying to help me and when you did I reacted by kissing you"
Y/n takes a breath before continuing.
"I panicked because I didn't want to make things awkward between us, I just got here a few weeks ago and you were my first friend here" Y/n says looking down nervously.
"I didn't know if you would feel the same" Y/n says sadly looking down.
Ned smiles at Y/n's confession before walking directly in front of her.
"Y/n I liked you from the day you stepped foot in the shop" Ned says smiling down at Y/n.
She looks up curiously to see Ned smiling down at her and smiles adoringly.
Ned looks at her lovingly before leaning down and resting his hands on her cheeks as one of his thumbs rubs her cheek softly and he looks into her eyes.
He kisses her softly and smiles when he feels her kiss him back.
They pull away looking at each other smiling with a light blush one their cheeks.
"So I'm guessing you two made up?" Eli asks with a smirk on his face having seen everything.
Ned and Y/n look at each other and laugh nervously stepping away from each other.
