"Y/n, Ned's here!" Melinda calls up to Y/n from the entrance way.
"Coming!" Y/n calls back walking downstairs.
"Hey Ned what's up?" Y/n asks seeing Ned with his hands in his pockets rocking back and forth on his heels nervously.
"I have something to do so I'll leave you two" Melinda says smiling at Ned and walking away.
"Can I talk to you outside?" Ned asks Y/n nervously.
"Yeah sure what's wrong?" Y/n asks walking to the porch with Ned.
Ned closes the door and looks at Y/n with a nervous smile.
"Ned are you okay?" Y/n asks confused.
"I'm fine just a bit nervous" Ned says smiling.
"Nervous about what?" Y/n asks.
"Do you want to go for a walk around town?" Ned asks nervously.
"I would love to" Y/n says smiling sweetly.
Y/n and Ned walk side by side down the street toward town in a comfortable silence.
Ned's hand brushes against Y/n's hand making Y/n gasp quietly.
"What's wrong I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that" Ned says frantically.
"Ned it's ok I just didn't expect it" Y/n says putting a hand on his shoulder smiling up at him.
"Can I?" Ned asks motioning to Y/n's hand.
"Yeah of course you can" Y/n says smiling shyly.
Ned grabs Y/n's hand smiling down at her nervously.
Ned and Y/n walk around town talking and laughing the whole time hand in hand.
Y/n and Ned arrive back to Y/n's house still hand in hand.
Y/n looks at Ned smiling.
"Thank you for the nice walk" Y/n says smiling.
"Anytime" Ned says smiling down at Y/n.
"I should go bye Ned" Y/n says to kissing Ned on the cheek.
"Bye.. Y/n" Ned says stuttering nervously.
Y/n giggles because of Ned's reaction to her kissing his cheek.
Y/n walks inside the house with a big smile on her red face from blushing.
Ned puts his hand where Y/n kissed his cheek and smiles walking away from the house down the street thinking about what happened.
