Aurora awoke from her home this morning feeling exhilarated. It was move in day at Sun Valley State University located in New Haven, Connecticut.

She finished packing the car last night and was ready to meet her without prearrangement, room-mate. She decided she wanted a fresh start from her old life, and that definitely starts with who she shares her room with for the next four years. So, she decided on a random.

Aurora has always been very outgoing. Her overall appearance always stood her out from the crowd. With her mixed skin tone, hazel eyes, auburn hair, and curvy body, she knows how to work a crowd.

She has never been into sports, but participating in clubs and anything to do with art, you could always count her down as a member.

When Aurora arrived at Sun Valley State University, she was unpacking her car and started loading it up in a cart to bring up to her room, room 325.

"Do you need any help?" A large man asked. He was wearing one of the orientation shirts, he must be a helper.

"Sure," she shrugged, throwing two bags over her shoulder. "I'm Aurora." She held out her hand.

He smiled, showing his pearly whites. "I'm Bo," he shook Aurora's hand. "I came early and just offered to help. Girl, I do not work here. I'm just ready for this bonfire tonight and thought I would get some free merchandise." Bo exclaimed, laughing.

Aurora noticed the rainbow pin on his shirt and instantly joined Bo in on the laughter. "Guess you can help me unpack too. Milk it for as long as you can".

The two grinned, pushing in the luggage and heading up the elevator to room 325.

"Hunny, this is bigger than my room!" Bo started fanning his face with an imaginary fan. "I'm practically down the hall in room 306!" Bo declared.

Aurora clapped her hands in joy. "We're going to be great friends," She hugged Bo quickly. "Now let's get to work." Aurora ran her hand over her face, revealing a serious expression.

They both huffed and started tackling the clothes first.

Bo was organizing the desk while sitting in the chair admiring his nails when the door knob was twisting.

"Now why would you ever pick a random roommate Giovanna," said a man's voice. Aurora halted, turning her head intrigued. "She can put your toothbrush in the toilet or perhaps slit your throat —" the voice stopped abruptly when a pair of eyes landed on Aurora.

A group formed in the doorway until an intense gaze broke the silence. "Come on guys," the girl hushed. "Let's not make a bad impression already".

The girl who was presumed to be Aurora's room mate turned to her.

"If you didn't hear my idiotic brother's voice from outside the door, my name is Giovanna Bianchi," she grinned, extending her arm.

Giovanna had olive skin, dark eyes, and long dark hair. Her nose was long, along with her thick eyebrows, round tummy, and freckles coating her cheeks, she was beautiful.

"Aurora Morgan," she smiled, shaking Giovanna's arm, settling the invite. "I promise I won't slit her throat during the night. Or even during the day". She laughed nervously. She hoped her brother got the memo, with his frightening gaze still staring at her cautiously.

Giovanna smiled. "Well this is my family. Meet my twin brother Giovanni, and other brother Dario," she motioned for them to come inside. "My sister Andrea, mother Cecilia and father Romeo".

Aurora suddenly felt somber, realizing she came alone to move a day. Not that her family couldn't come, they wanted to. Her father couldn't get the day off work and her mother, as sweet as can be, couldn't bear sending her youngest child away from home.
