Time Jump - Four Years Later

Aurora was in her room when she received a notification on her computer. She quickly dismissed it to ponder on her thoughts.

It's been four years since she graduated from Sun Valley State University in New Haven, Connecticut. After college, she officially moved out of her parents house in Southbury and got an apartment with her roommate and best friend, Giovanna Bianchi.

Aurora got her dream job of being an art curator at a gallery in downtown Southbury. To start, her salary is $65,000 - $89,000 a year.

Not too bad for a newly college graduate.

Giovanna however has graduated with a music degree. She is currently an apprentice at a recording studio, accompanying a record producer.

She always dreamt of becoming a songwriter though.

She has a full time job waitressing at an upscale restaurant downtown, making a substantial amount of tips.

Bo has been doing very well for himself as well.

He graduated SVSU with a business degree and has a boyfriend of three years.

Bo met Quincey at a gay bar with Aurora and Giovanna the night after the interrogation. All deciding they should get black out drunk, it was well deserved.

The bar was known by locals of New Haven as Electro.

That night, Sun Valleys rival school East Shore University also attended, making the vibes exceptional.

Electro has strobe lights with a huge disco ball on the high ceiling. They have karaoke nights with a bar on the first floor and a dance floor on the second. The two floors consisted of multiple DJS with the vibes changing in every room you walk.

*FLASHBACK*

Aurora bought rounds of shots for Giovanna and Bo. They deserved it after everything Aurora put them through, or Grant should she say.

He is always on her mind, but tonight was not the night to be in her feelings.

While they were gulping the alcohol like water, two girls approached them.

"Hey, I'm Iris," A blonde woman faced the three but spoke to the bartender to order their drinks. "This is my girlfriend, Ophelia."

Ophelia had a muscular build to her. She had a dark complexion with brown wavy hair. She was Samoan.

Iris looked like she was of Polish descent with fair skin, blonde balayage hair, and blue eyes. She had a petite figure and fit perfectly up against her girlfriend.

They kept gazing lovingly at each other almost as if one could not breathe without the other. It made me miss Grant even if I was unsure he had committed any of those crimes.

But that was just the vodka talking because in reality I was more scared than I have ever been in my entire life. I wasn't sure if the boy I loved who so supposedly loved me back, was a killer.

Had he been playing me all along just so he could have eventually killed me? Was that all I was to him? Just another victim for him to brutalize?

Aurora couldn't even stomach the thought that she was just another one of Grant's victims. She thought that what they had was real and that it was true love, she truly thought he loved her.

"Hi! I'm Giovanna. This is Aurora and Bo," she exclaimed, pointing to her two friends.

Thank god for Giovanna. She broke Aurora out of her thoughts.
