Today was the day that they were leaving to go to Rhode Island. Everyone was excited and they couldn't wait to just relax for the next week.

Aurora was finishing up packing as she had spent the previous night making sure everything was alright with her job. She finalized her client's artwork and collected the required payment from them.

Nick was coming to pick up both her and Giovanna in the next hour.

Both Aurora and Giovanna were doing any last minute checks around their apartment. They wanted to make sure all the windows and doors were locked and that it would be all set while they were gone for the week.

Giovanna however, was still a little down about the fight that they had with Ophelia and Iris in New York. She wasn't sure how everyone was going to act once they reached the lake house.

She was hoping that everyone could move past what happened in the city and could just see Leo from her point of view. He was truly a sweet guy who just wanted to make her happy.

Giovanna finished packing her luggage and walked into Aurora's room. She wanted to voice her concerns about how to approach the Leo topic with the girls.

"Do you think the girls are still upset about our fight?" she asked Aurora questionably.

"I hope not," Aurora looked at her. "I don't want the Leo situation to ruin this trip. You know how the girls are though, once we are all together, I'm sure the fight will blow over." she stated.

This would be her and Nick's first official trip and she wanted everything to go smoothly.

Nick previously asked her to take their relationship farther and gave Aurora the time she needed to process everything. She made up her mind and didn't need any drama coming between the two of them on this trip.

"I agree, I just want everyone to get along. I just want Ophelia and Iris to open their eyes and see that Leo is a great guy and that he really does care about me."

Giovanna was saddened by the fact that the girls had been so quick to judge Leo. They based their opinions so quickly — they had never really even taken the time to get to know him.

The only thing that they knew was that Leo is a mechanic and a dense guy. A dense guy that Giovanna was falling for.

The girls took their suitcases and did a final look over at their apartment and their outfits as they put on their shoes.

Giovanna set the alarm in the house while Nick had texted Aurora that he was downstairs in the lobby waiting for them. He wanted to help load their luggage and carry ons in his car.

Aurora looked at herself one last time in the mirror. She wanted to make sure her distressed denim shorts looked okay as they were paired with an olive green ribbed top. Underneath her clothing, she wore her favorite white two piece bathing suit.

For her hair, she did a half up half down style with two space buns with a sleek swoop. She matched that with bulky gold hoop earrings.

As for Giovanna, she knew that she looked good. She was wearing a dark brown soft mesh cover up skirt and an orange flowy crop top. This covered up her black two piece bathing suit and she wore her chunky sandals to tie the whole outfit together.

As for her hair, she parted her hair down the middle and braided it into two slick back bubble braids. She pulled two pieces out in the front, framing her face. She coordinated that with diamond stud earrings and put on all her silver jewelry, making sure she wore her cornicello horn amulet.
