It was towards eleven when the Japanese National Guard arrived at the airport. Michikatsu noticed them right away. Three giant helicopters.

"So noisy," he muttered.

Yoriichi had been dozing off on one of the chairs, and the loud hum of the engines woke him up.

"They're here?"

"Yes. Michikatsu dug his phone out of his pocket just as it rang."

" Good evening, am I speaking with Tsugikuni-san? "

"Yes. I'm standing in the window, look for a tall man that's waving."

" We see you. We're on our way. "

Michikatsu watched the people in uniforms on the lot below.

They bustled around the helicopters they'd arrived in, and an armored car was driven out of one of the aircraft. Yoriichi watched them in silence, his eyes darting back and forth.

"They're going for him, aren't they?"

"Yes. You sound sad about it."

"No...I'm just a bit afraid. For him."

"Yoriichi, they're not going to hurt him, you know that, his parents know that."

"I know. But I have a feeling he'll be scared anyway. He's just a child, and what he's gone through, I know I'd be wary at least."

Michikatsu hummed.

"I see..."

Muichirō began sobbing as three guards thundered into his room. They looked like scary silhouettes in the dimly lit room.

"Mama...Mama, help!"

His Mother had been sleeping in a chair next to his bed. She woke up and grasped his hand. "Don't cry baby. They're here to help."

Yuichirō stirred in his sleep. He was so exhausted that even Muichirō's mewling didn't wake him. Father lifted him off Muichirō's bed.

"Sir, if you don't mind following me outside," one of the uniformed ladies said.

He nodded, and followed her with Yuichirō.

Two other guards focused on getting Muichirō out of the hospital. Another woman unhooked him from all the monitors and took the IV out of his arm.

The man wrapped him in a blanket and lifted him out of bed. Muichirō shivered in his arms, crying and calling out for his Mother.

"It's okay little guy, we don't want to hurt you," the man assured him.

Muichirō's Mother ran after the man and grabbed Muichirō's flailing hand that wasn't stuck in the blanket.

"Mama's here, Muichirō! I'm not letting you go! You're safe, these people are here to get you home!"

The hospital nurses glanced at the troop running down the corridor, visibly concerned. A cold blast of wind hit everyone as soon as they made it outside.

"Shoot. Open the back door!"

Two uniformed guards ran and opened the back of the car door for the man carrying Muichirō, and the guy lifted him into the back, his mother following close behind. A nurse took the child and laid him in a stretcher.

"I apologize for the hurriedness of the situation," one of the men bowed.

"We want to get him back as fast as possible, I'm sure you understand."
