A demon is running loose in the monastery. The only people who know about it is kai and jay. They both are looking for a way. Wu has left. A shadow figure is watching and listening.

Jay yawned awake and went to his room to fiddle with something and call his mum for a chat since she wakes up early and he's been busy.
the shadow smirked at jay leaving and put a scroll with a red ribbon on kai's nightstand.
somewhere...else:
"Dude why did that stupid idiot break into my treasure room!? he has to release he lives in my shadow." someone snorted "its not like he stole anything big. just the scroll of paranoia and stuff" the person bit into an immortal peach. "im just wondering how he's traveling through the realm rips."
Back in ninjago:
Kai rubbed his eyes. his hair was messy. his phone beeped from an alarm and he saw a scroll. a scroll with a red ribbon. his eyes widened and opened the scroll thinking it might be from jay. he saw the contents of the scroll and his eyes reflected yellow with sparks.

Kai put his blanket around him and walked to the kitchen. "what could it mean!?" kai was screacching. "Am i gonna die from it!? why was it on my bedside table!? who put it ther!??? i think its jay but whyyy!???????"
"hello-" zane smiled "How about you take off the pendant it might help"
"No" kai shook his head as zane glared at him.
"Just take it off? it could help uhh bud" zane smiled. Kai frowned at being called bud by a robot that used there actual Names
"No i feel safe with it on" Kai replied "Why do you want me to take it off? do you not want me to feel safe? are you the demon? why are you inisiting on me take it off???"
"no reason no reason" zane replied.
"are you sure- are you autistic!? do you have dementia? do you have Ocd? can robots have mental problems- do you have cold!???" Kai asked worried about his friend acting weird.
"Im a robot kai i dont get a cold or have mental problems" zane replied
"so your just weird!?" kai asked "- sorry"
"Ugh" Zane sighed.
"Sorry..." Kai said still wrapped up like a burrito before walking outside and sitting on a wooden bench underneath a cherry blossom tree. he was worried. flinching at everynoise. every movement. worring about the future.
crying about the past.
regreting his actions from the past. ones that have hurt the team in the procces.
having a panic attack of all kinds. worring about the world around him and what he should do.
foot steps were head behind him. he flinched and whipped his head towards the noise. nya was walking over to the bench and sat next to him. "whats up bro?" she asked.
"uhh nothing, why do you ask? are you in on it aswell!?" he stuttered.
"in on it?...whever....your my brother. ive known you ever since i was born. i know when your stressed" Nya replied.
Kai looked at the ground still snuggled in the blanket like a burrito.
"you can tell me. were siblings. im not going to judge you" nya smiled "that Much"
"Im weak! i couldnt help lloyd when he got possesed and when the ninja get hurt" Kai emotions started to rise up from where he kept them hidden. "i mean...and i have to act all happy and over-egoistic because if i dont then people just consider me as a- a normal ninja....and if i do contuie then hurt the rest of the teams feelings or confidence...i- i just wish i could have a break...one with no villains, one where i can be myself and have fun with my family" Kai looked back at the monastery.
he leaned into nyas shoulder. nya's eyes were wide but her look softened and she patted his back as he sobbed and was muttering paranoid thoughts. "you helped lloyd in the end. you helped the ninja in the end. even if they got hurt they wouldve gotten much more hurt without you. your not weak kai. you cant control what happens. only you can control what you do and how you react" Nya smiled hugging kai. he fell asleep on the bench for 2 hours and then woke up with more panic attacks and paranoia. "AHH- did i get to much sleep!? did i over sleep?" Kai asked. then the final hour ran dry and his eyes reflected a red coulor and the paranoia wore off.
"Huh- welp im gonna keep sleeping" Kai yawned laying spread on the bench.
the tree swayed. its narrow trunk leading up to outwards branchs filled with flowers. nya came to check on kai. she chuckled at him still being asleep. she stepped on one of the cherry blossoms and walked off into the monastery.
"I stole the scroll from...and old friend" the shadow smirked. "the scroll of paranoia works well but it only works once...and your plan didnt work im sorry...i couldve possesed nya but...it didnt feel right...you should...let kai down a bit slowly and not...in the biggest hurtful way"
"You tried your best and thats what matter's we will get out revenge. i dont want to hurt kai but i need that pendant back...it makes me feel incomplete...he's going to find out eventually...i just need to find the revival scroll to get back at my other sensei" the demon frowned. "Plus i cant go out there and you've been helping me through this so i will help you get him back for what he's done dad- i mean sensei-"
the demon chuckled. "dude i know ive like not legally adopted you but like your my son now"
the demon hugged the shadow. "Thanks...dad"
the shadow grinned at the word dad.
"your welcome, i may be your mentor but godammit your a not bad student and son"
"btw wanna go grab some take out?" the shadow suggested.
