the child born from the moon, stars, sky and clouds. he fell from the sky into the first spinjitzu's master's arms. the first spinjitzu master smiled taking care of the child depite it being a demon. he loved it like his own child.
until he had his own children that is.
Wu and Garmadon.
the first spinjitzu master too care of them. gave all his attention to the two children ignoring Balin. Balin tried to not care. it hurt massively but he didnt dare to go against the first spinjitzu master. he kept quiet about it.
One day on a day where the first spinjitzu master spared time for balin they trained. Balin gave his training everything with determination. it didnt end well. his powers were too powerful. he lost control and it overwhelmed Balin extremely. the power lifted him up and surrounded him with energy draining from the moon, stars, sky and clouds. the moon turned grey. the sky turned into a less bright blue. clouds turned grey covering the sky up. the stars unseen were losing there energy. this child was absorbing the energy having no idea how to stop. if it didnt stop soon the power would erupt and destroy this child. burn the skin off bones.
Wu and garmadon peaked through the door seeing this display. Balin was completely entrapped within the energy.
"Monster!" Garmadon yelled in fear holding his brothers arm to comfort him.
"Please stop balin! your scaring me!" Wu closed his eyes in fear.
The first spinjitzu master didnt do anything. he stood there calmly. "Stop at once" he said sternly.
"I- I cant!" Balin cried out with tears falling making the energy stronger and his tears evaporated.
"...uhh" the first spinjitzu master looked around and saw a scroll near him. he chanted a spell on Balin and then it burned. the fsm eyes turned gold.
Balin eyes turned from purple to gold. his arms felt heavy. his hair felt lighter. it had turned from brown to white. his freckels turned gold and he felt chains around his arms. his skin felt like it was burning. then he felt stabs and slices covering his skin. like papercuts. then he felt himself lose breath.
nothing physical affected Balin. but the curse that had been put onto him was in action.
"AGHH" Balin screamed out in pain. Balin cried out falling to the ground feeling as if his guts would spill out. The 2 kids were rushed inside by the first spinjitzu master. "I- im sorry it was to be done. you couldve destoryed the sky. you couldve made the atmosphere fall. You could of hurt my children" first spinjitzu master said. "What about me? Did you care what would happen to me? I felt like I was stabbed, drowned and burned at the same time just then?!" Balin argued. "Hmm I guess the spell worked... too well" the first spinjitzu master sighed before walking back to the house. "Come along now, Balin"
"your the almightly person that created all of ninjago. you couldnt just make one up? Stop me without placing and painful curse!?" Balin yelled.
"Well when you showed you sadness by crying, it would make you feel death. so you'd stop being entrapped in the energy. you couldve actually died if i didnt." The first master explained.
"I- why?" Balin asked.
"the scroll was from another universe. it had been given to me. i vowed that after peace was made i wouldnt use my power." The first spinjitzu master sighed.
"what about the overlord-" Balin was cut off.
"we Dont talk about that." the fsm glared.
"but you didnt even eradicate him you just trapped him away" Balin snickered. he then felt a pain on his arm.
"well you vowed to be good. to train to protect yourself. if you contuied you would destroy it!" The first spinjitzu master yelled. "...i shouldve passed you back to the universe"
Balin eyes leaked one single tear. One single tear and he fell to the ground in pain twitching on the ground. "..." the first spinjitzu master eyes grew wide. "H-help m-e p-p-please" Balin choked in pain on the ground. "I-" the first spinjitzu master was about to help balin but hesitated before choosing something else.
im going to help my sons" the first spinjitzu master said walking inside.
"Wha- wait-"
the next day:
"you dont care do you? you never cared!" Balin argued.
"I cared for you! i looked after you! your nothing without me!" first spinjitzu master argued back.
"I'd rather be nothing then be with you and treated like shit!" Balin yelled.
"Shut up you woudlnt last a day out there without me" the first spinjitzu master angrily said back and hit Balin in the head.
"I-" the first spinjitzu master stuttered.
Balin kicked the first spinjitzu master.
The first spinjitzu master wanted to pity Balin. he had cursed the poor thing and treated it terrible. "Ill be better to you!" he tried to reason.
"Better? youve lost your chance. youve never acted like you cared!" Balin spat before walking away from the first spinjitzu master.
he walked in the dessert for days. the heat was miserable. killing Balin. 6 people found Balin in the desert. crawling alone in the hot sand. desperate to find water. the first fire master gave Balin his water canaster and helped him up. they became friends. then best toxic besties. then they got *together. it was very toxic as i will say.
it was 6 elemental master's helped balin. Elemental master's had freedom and were able to choose how to use there powers instead of being told to by there "sensei".
they helped him despite his horns and being a demon. and so eventually they became a team. every victory against evil people and identities would bring out the word of the legendary Saviour's. all of the elemental masters were cheered but Balin was ignored. since he had horns and was a demon people hated him. people were disgusted by him and his horns. the elemental masters tried to help Balin but never let him get the spotlight despite him being important and the key to almost every victory. the first fire elemental ninja had hated him. despised him. they were together but balin was to blind to see the intent. each arguement was left with a one sided appologie. the fire master remarking that Balin should try better for them.
it was basic manipulation. but even clear manipulation could be cloudy with desperation.
Balin was tired. alone. had daddy issues. and quite literally wanted to slice the fire ninja's vocal chords when they fought for the 100milionth time. (foreshadowing?🤷♂️)
why u still here the part ended. i aint telling you the rest of the story till Balin is revealed Lmao.
