The Forgotten Warrior (Ninjago X Lego Monkie Kid)

MAZE

a rumble went through the ground. the door closed behind them trapping them. 

"Hello thereee" a voice echoed laced with malice and tricks waiting for the two to walk through the entrance. 

the entrance to the Maze.  filled with purple smoke and small glowing particals. 

Before:

"So your saying?" Jay rolled his eyes. 

"it has to be somewhere!" Kai moved his hand trailing on the wall of the pixal's cave. his hand traced every single brick until one felt right. he pressed it and it sunk into the wall and opened a door leading to a tube of circle stairs. jay had wide eyes. he sighed before getting a flash light since the long stairs were going to be dark and unbearable. Kai smiled "told you". 

"it not like opening a ancient tomb or place is going to be a good thing" jay shrugged "but hey, im not a buzzkill like lloyd so lets go" Jay smirked before grabbing kai's hand and pulling him down the stairs as they laugh and smile. the shadow smiled slithering like a 2D snake on the walls out of sight but following the 2 boys. 

"Honeslty its fun going on an adventure like this. i mean the monastery is getting haunted and stuff but just us two figuring it out!" kai smiled still running down the stairs but being careful not to slip. 

"Well of course! its the two funnisest ninja going on a quest to slay an evil demon!" jay smiled. they were both acting like kids. little did kai know it'd be the last time he'd ever get the chance to. 

the stairs soon ended and the purple mist covered the ground in a thick coat. jay was abnormally calm to this. kai was wondering wtf the mist was. the mist would follow them and rise. 

kai looked forward to see mist spewing out of an ancient large room. it had pillars and markings everywhere. it had a key on the ground. they walked into the tomb as the shadow slipped behind them. 

Kai flashed the torch at the large peach seed in the tomb. he then trembled before walking over to the back wall in the maze. it had thousands of tally marks Un neatly on the wall made by a dry red substance. Kai was curious and went to touch the dry red tally marks but jay suddenly grabbed his hand. "i found something" jay smiled. he walked towards a very un-neat story with pictures. he shined the light on the pictures but before he could compute what the pictures meant a clatter was heard. kais head whipped around to see the purple mist turn into a larg figure. shadow ribbons around its arm. a X as its left eye and a long scarf. it suddenly smirks before creating a portal behind them. its large hand the size of kai push kai and jay into a dark large room. 

they fell onto the cold ground and the portal shut. 

its dark purple made out of rocks with purple glowing stones. jay climbs up a large pillar of stone. he takes a good looks from the height. "Hey dude! its a maze like the first spinjitzus masters tomb!" he slides down the pillar. "Aww shux i suck at mazes..." kai grumbles. "Im good at mazes" jay sticks out his tounge since mazes are one of his pretend specialties.  "Ok ok whatever" kai chuckles before jay and kai begin there walk through the maze. 

"That weird monster was...weird are we just not going to talk about whatever it was" Jay asks. "seems like one of the demons well uhh friends? i dont know" kai shrugs as they turn a left into the maze straight into a dead end. with a odd marble. the marble explodes and a monster with large teeth and stretchy arms reach for kai that jay slice with a sword. 

"Oh thank god you brought a sword" kai breathes out. "your welcome hairgel" Jay giggles before turning back and walking right. "Hey!" kai playfully yells.
