Macaria had gotten a little information in that time - and it was quite helpful to them. It had claimed that both Emory and Atticus would be in the South Hybern area during their extraction of Hybern people. She didn't think they'd come across them during it though - it was unlikely. But wouldn't be unexpected.
The plan was that herself and Aerlo would crash some sort of Hybern gathering - full of people for them to take back with them.
Aerlo was already there and making a headcount, and Evette was concealed a good distance from it, and she was to await for his signal for her to crash them. They knew they had to be quick as someone may recognise Aerlo from the War.
But she was stood off to the side and was concealed. She wore a bright white - almost silver - dress and had a black hooded cloak over to the top. None would look at her and think she were the Black Queen of Angevin.
"Okay, everything looks good." Aerlo spoke through her mind just as she began to grow impatient.
And so, she turned and began to head for the building that the gathering was taking place in. It took her mere moments to reach there, and she moved to shove the doors open. Every head turned to look at her, just as she pulled her hood down and she levelled a dark gaze through the crowd, who all bristled at her appearance.
In the crowd, Evette was able to spy Romulus and Emory, and she found what luck they had that they were actually here.
However, before anyone could do anything, Aerlo appeared at the other end of the room, and all he needed to do was raise a hand, before every single person in the room between them clutched their head as they cried out in agony, some even dropping to their knees. A number of them even began to bleed from their ears.
"It's Aerlo!" One of the Hybern's cried out, his voice breaking as he did.
"Miss me?" Aerlo asked the crowd - many of who had probably glimpsed and maybe even met him in the War. "No? Oh, well." He mused before he dropped his hand to his side.
Then it was her turn.
Evette held her hands out in front of her as they all recovered on the floor from Aerlo's attack upon their minds. She then twisted both of her wrists swiftly - windows shattered, a strong wind raced through the room knocking table, chairs, and people down to the floor - some were even thrown across the room. Lights flickered out and the walls, floor, and ceiling developed cracks - one wall even collapsed.
But she lazily waved her hand in it's direction, and it collapsed the other way so it didn't crush anyone.
They knew a good collection of the people gathered were very likely to possess information that could be very helpful for them, so she knew they had to take every last person. Except for Romulus and Emory - she wanted them to scurry back to the King and her aunt and tell them who exactly came by and took more than enough of his people.
So, both herself and Aerlo began to gather them all up, just as Romulus pushed himself to stand. "I was sorry to her about your father and brother, Princess." Romulus mused as he tried to hide his wheeze.
Evette ignored him.
"They died pathetically, begging!" Emory hissed, making Evette pause momentarily, as she felt her fury move beneath her skin. "He begged for his son to be spared. But we made him watch as his son tried desperately to crawl away with his shattered knees and broken legs, and we made him watch as we killed him. And then - "
He was cut off all of a sudden by a vast force of magic colliding with him. He was thrown against one of the remaining walls, and he was pinned there, as she forced his mouth shut.
