TW: This chapter will have brief mentions of SA
When they arrived at wherever Merle had been calling home for the time he was away from the group Cassie was pulled away from Glenn and Maggie being brought to a separate room away from them.
The guy who she had worked out to be called Martinez stood behind her as she had her head bent pushing her forward towards a room.
When they stopped at what she presumed to be the door to where she was going to be kept she quickly threw her head back into Martinez's face hitting him square in the nose.
He stumbled back in pain holding his nose but before she could make a run two men behind her grabbed an arm each. "Get off me you sick bastards!" She shouted struggling against their grips with all her might.
"Your gonna pay for that you blonde bitch!" He yelled banging a fist against the wall as the pain on his face grew. "Take her to the boss's new room" and with that Cassie was being dragged away against her will. Again.
She tried to keep track of the way they were going but with all the turns and the corridors looking the exact same it was really hard for her to tell. She was still thrashing against the two guards holding her as well hoping for any chance to break free and find her friends.
This time when they reached the door as Cassie was going to try and take advantage of them stopping when something hard hit her on the back of the head causing her to fall down. The cool concrete made contact wither her body as she hissed in pin slowly losing consciousness.
"How'd you like it honey" were Martinez's taunting words and the last thing she heard before it all went black.
———————————————————————————
When Cassie re awoke she had no clue how long she'd been out. The first thing she did however notice was the searing pain coming from where she was hit making her groan.
As she went to hold her head in her hands she noticed her hands were bonded down. She frowned and tried again to move but the wrists she kept trying to pull up were being kept secure to the table with leather cuffs.
She let out a cry of frustration over her situation when a slightly well dressed man entered the room. When she saw him she started to thrash in the chair wanting out. "Let me go!" She shouted.
"Whoa easy there. Don't break my chair" he told her his hands in the air as if he was surrendering or something. He had a small smirk on his face as she continued to struggle in front of him as if she were a animal caught in his trap. "Let's start over shall we? I'm The Governor"
"What kind of douchebag name is that" she chuckled causing him to walk forward and deliver a hard punch to her cheek. She didn't want him to see he was getting to her so she simply tilted her head at him with a smile.
"You knew Merle didn't you? And you know where his brother is?" He asked her standing right next to her.
"What do you care?"
"Oh I don't. But I do care about where the rest of your group is holding up" he elaborated.
"You know their gonna come for me. My people will come for me" Cassie spoke confidently but at the same time hopefully. When would the group know to come looking for them?
The Governor simply chuckled slightly at her words as he didn't truly believe what she was saying. "If they find you that is. Now we're going to try this again hmm?" He asked but never gave her time to answer before he continued "So where are your group"
"Fuck. You" She spat at him keeping her head held high. She could tell she was really pissing him off now as he paced around the room in front of her.
"I really didn't want it to come to this but you leave me no choice" He told her with his back to her meaning he didn't see the flash of worry that came into Cassie's eyes. He turned back around a knife in one hand before he started moving towards Cassie.
Cassie was ready for the feeling of the cool metal blade against her skin but instead she heard the sound of fabric ripping beneath her. She looked down to see the t-shirt she had been previously wearing had been cut right down the middle and before she knew it The Governor had pulled the fabric away from her leaving her feeling exposed lying on the table in only her bra.
Cassie started pulling against her restraints even harder beginning to hurt her wrists but she didn't care she just wanted out and away from his prying eyes. "Let me go, let me go!" she continued to scream but his face was staring at her with no expression as he watched her try and break free.
"Lets try one more time huh sweetheart?" he asked her, the nickname giving her chills as he gave her a smile that was most definitely sinister than sweet. "Where are they?" he shouted right in her face.
"Go to hell!" she shouted right back earning her another strike across the face, this one causing her to begin to taste the rusty taste of blood swarming her taste buds.
The Governors face went back to one of no emotion which if Cassie was being honest freaked her out more then when he was trying to be scary and screaming at her. When he started walking towards her the same way he had before Cassie knew what was about to happen and couldn't help the panic that began to set in.
"NO! Get your hands away from me! NO!" She screamed and screamed but he ignored her taking away the last article of clothing covering her chest leaving her naked from the waste up. Cassie bent her head down trying not to look at the cruel man in front of her but he took her chin in his hands and tilted her head up to look at him.
"This is your own fault" he told her before his hands moved down towards her chest. All Cassie could do was lie there and scream as loud as she could hoping she'd be heard as his hands moved over her chest in a way that made her feel sick to het stomach. Multiple times she would try to move away from him but he would simply hit her again causing her to still so he could continue with his wicked work.
After a few minutes he looked down at the once confident women who shouted in his face and now saw a scared, shell of a women who wouldn't fight back. Satisfied with work he took his knife and cut Cassie's restraints free before moving over to the door opening it to shout on his right hand man.
Cassie couldn't hear anything but as soon as he was away from her she moved away to the furthest corner of the room bringing her knees up to her chest and hugging them tight wishing she was safe in Daryl's arms.
When Merle entered the room having been stood outside waiting on The Governor he looked down at the blonde women who was shaking slightly with a very small feeling of slight guilt. Merle wasn't the best man that much was clear but he never had anything against Cassie when they were both at the Atlanta camp.
He knew she got along with his little brother so tried keeping his remarks to himself whenever he saw her and other than the occasional wolf whistle or calling her blondie he never really bothered her.
He took the black shirt he had on over his white vest and threw it at Cassie's feet. "Cover yourself up, got places to be" he told her walking back towards the door not sparing her a second glance.
Cassie was extremely confused but she didn't show it her face saying emotionless as she pulled the shirt on and buttoned it up. She walked towards Merle who turned around then grabbed her arm and began walking her through the tunnels.
"Thank you" she whispered to him and all he did was grunt back. Cassie had learned they a grunt in Dixon could mean anything but in this case it probably meant 'alright' so she'd take it.
