Caitlyn half dragged, half carried Briar across the smooth, stone basement floor. Her arm was wrapped around Briar's waist. Briar fought to keep her head up, groaning as she dragged her feet. The gem in her cuffs pulsed crimson.

"Remember our story?" Caitlyn whispered.

"You... edged me?"

"Yes, yes and?"

"When I came, I... uh..."

"Came so hard you passed out."

"Came so hard I passed out. Right." Briar managed a half-grin. "I got it."

Caitlyn ran the plan past Briar two more times as they climbed the stairs. It wasn't a complex plan. She messed it up both times.

Ahri awaited them at the top of the stairs. Her nine tails snapped back and forth. A rather confused Graves and a bored Twisted Fate flanked her.

"Men, take Briar upstairs. See to it that she is rested, fed, and re-hydrated. I will speak to our guest."

Graves scratched his head. "In that order?"

One look from Ahri, and Graves bolted over to Caitlyn, threw Briar over his shoulder, and hurried through the double doors. Shaking his head, Twisted Fate mozied after him.

Ahri's oppressive glare turned on Caitlyn. "Couch. Now." Her fangs flashed as she spoke.

Caitlyn felt like a schoolgirl in the headmaster's office as she hurried to the couch. The cushions did nothing to lighten Caitlyn's anxiety. The gravity of the situation revealed itself like a slap across the back of the head. She'd done much more than break Ahri's orgasm rule.

Ahri loomed over her. "Haven't you been paying attention, Caitlyn?"

"S- Sorry?"

"You can not lie to me. Your soul is an open book. Emotions, intentions, thoughts – these are my domain." Blue light flashed in Ahri's eyes.

Caitlyn hung her head. "I'm sorry. Really, I just-"

"Do not speak. Not until I have finished. You have broken one of my rules, disobeyed a direct instruction, and then possessed the gall to lie to me about it. I warned you there would be consequences, and yet it seems you think yourself above such things."

"I don't! I just-"

"Did I say you could speak? Do not interrupt me, Caitlyn. Under normal circumstances, such transgressions would have ended your run and rendered your membership null and void."

Normal circumstances? Caitlyn lifted her head.

Ahri narrowed her golden eyes. "Yes, normal circumstances. If I banned you now, I'd have a riot on my hands. Plus..." Ahri clicked her tongue and looked away. "Kayle has expressed interest in you. What Kayle wants, Kayle gets. So. You will be allowed to proceed with your challenge, and I will graciously gift you a chance to regain my trust. Let me be clear, this is your last chance. You're on three strikes. Earn a fourth, and I'll give you to Kayle, let her have her way, and then toss you back onto the streets. Am I clear?"

Caitlyn's tongue was numb. Her eyes were buzzing. She spoke as if in a dream. "Yes, Ma'am Thank you. It won't happen again."

Ahri huffed and marched out of the room with an aggressive strut, her tails whipping and snapping with the sway of her hips. The double doors slammed shut behind her.

"Gods..." Caitlyn blew a raspberry and sunk into the couch. "Well, I suppose only one God is relevant here. Or, Goddess. Or Aspect? Isn't Kayle an Aspect?"
