surprise!

I fell asleep before the movie ended, and I woke up to the sound of a phone camera.

"The fuck?" I muttered before I saw Carl and Persephone giggling while holding my phone, "Hey!"

Ian slowly got up and rubbed his eyes as I grabbed my phone, looking through my camera roll. It was a few pictures of Ian and I asleep. I would've said it was cute if I wasn't annoyed and embarrassed.

Holly came stomping downstairs and stepped over everyone on the ground.

"Lip's an asshole. I'm out of here," she said.

"What'd he do? Want me to kick his ass?" Carl's friend, Little Hank, said.

"Don't go! I'm making waffles for breakfast!" Debbie said.

"Well, you can shove mine up Lip's ass!"

As Holly left, Carl and Hank followed her, and Lip came downstairs.

I looked at Ian, "Should we do something or-

"Nope. This is Lip's problem now," he said, taking my hand and bringing me upstairs.

We plopped on Ian's bed and chuckled as we heard whatever was going on downstairs. As I laughed, I leaned against him, and he put his arm around me.

"I really wanna kiss you right now," Ian said.

I stood up and looked at him, "What's stopping you?"

Slowly, he leaned in, and our lips were about to touch when we heard someone come upstairs.

"Whoa there, horny teenagers," Lip said, making us pull away.

"Yeah, you're one to talk," I said.

Lip threw his hands up, "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Ian and I laughed as he left the room.

"Wonder if this means he's finally moved on."

"Don't know. Don't care," Ian said before grabbing my chin and kissing me.

I kissed him back, and we pulled away.

"Do you still want to sleep here tonight?"

I kissed him and nodded. We got under the covers and fell asleep. I hadn't slept in the same bed as another person in so long, and it felt good to fall asleep and wake up in someone's arms.

After waffles, we went into the pool. Ian, Persephone, Troy and I swam around and tackled each other while Kev and V and Lip and Debbie played chicken.

"Kev's like a giant. That's not fair," Debbie said.

"Yea, life's not fair, Debs," Lip said, "Haven't you learned that by now?"

"Come on over, girl, you're going down!"

And just like that, Debbie fell into the water.

"I don't play. I don't play!"

Persephone splashed me before Troy threw her underwater.

Fiona and some guy came outside with their coffee. He was pretty cute. Good for her.

    "Looks like your rash is clearing up!" Fiona said, looking at Debbie's arm.

    "Yea!" Debbie said, "You guys done with your therapy?"

    "They're still in the house. He's singing ''Your Body is a Wonderland."

    "What?" I said.

"Long story," Fi said, "Kev, this is Adam. Adam, Kevin.

    As Fiona introduced Kev and Adam, I noticed Karen walking over to us. She did not look happy at all.

She kneed Lip in the balls, making him groan, and she pushed him over onto the ground.

    "Why the fuck was Mandy Milkovich at MY house trying to screw Jody?!" she yelled furiously, "He turned her down and told me what happened."

    "Yea because he's a fucking pussy!" Lip said.

    "Fuck you!" she kicked him again, making Fiona and Ian intervene.

    "Hey, hey!" Fiona said, trying to break it up.

    "Stay the fuck away from me! Stay the fuck away from Jody!"

    Karen continued kicking him and screaming, even with Ian holding her back.

"And stay the fuck away from this baby!"

Everyone went quiet. I looked at Ian, who was at a loss for words. Karen was pregnant, and it was probably Lip's.
