THE FLASHING MULTICOLORED LIGHTS offered themselves as ambience, Cyn's six inch heels did little to aid her drunkenly stunted co-ordination.

The theme for Oliver's birthday party tonight hosted by Felix at Saltburn was 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', based on the Shakespeare play itself.

Cyn had opted for dressing as Helena, her costume being a long white dress with pink floral patterns, a light grey cloak and a flower crown on her head.

The girl may be an Architect major, but she knew how to party.  She'd torn through 2 bottles of expensive Brandy, and even sniffed a few lines of cocaine as a treat.

"Royce, you've got to meet my mate Oliver! He's great!"

Felix called out to her, grabbing ahold of her hand to prevent her from losing him in the crowded room - or worse.

Finally finding an antler-bearing Oliver by the DJ booth with Farleigh who had a stuffed donkey head in-tow, tonight was shaping up to be rather eventful.

"Oliver, meet the one and only, absolutely divine Cyn Royce. Doesn't she look great tonight?"

Felix gave her a glance before diverting his focus once more. Divine? Of course he would call her divine of all things.

Cyn Royce may as well be a Goddess, a divine being amongst mortals with Felix being her number one loyal worshipper.

"So this is the famous birthday boy Oliver that Felix won't stop going on about, huh? I'm Cyn."

She grinned, offering to give him a hug over a simple handshake. "You alright, Cyn?" was the only greeting Farleigh needed to give.

An awkward silence followed for a few seconds before the blue-eyed boy actually replied.

"Famous? I don't know if I'd go that far, but yes, I guess you can say I'm a friend of his."

"You guess? Come on, Oli'. You're like....a fucking Oxford legend now!"

The clearly buzzed Felix rested an elbow on Oliver's shoulder, making Cyn giggle as her and Farleigh exchanged a look.

"Felix, you're fucked up. Like actually fucked up, how much have you been drinking?"

Farleigh commented, his cousin simply shrugged. "Are you my Mum now? Lighten up, man....we're here to have fun, man!

It's...it's our boy Oliver's birthday, y'know? And Royce over here is just so..." He slurred, his train of thought halting.

Oliver's eyebrows furrowed, he almost seemed angry. No, livid. The nerve of Felix to bring Cyn Royce to what was meant to be his moment at Saltburn was ludicrous.

Cyn trying to act buddy buddy with me as if she wasn't the slut walking around with my Felix?

Seeing Felix in such a state had tainted the picture I'd painted of him in my mind.

My crush making a total drunken fool of himself whilst hanging all over Cyn wasn't exactly earning him any 'Daddy' points.

Felix had flaws like everyone else, I hated it. I wanted him to remain untouched, the dreamy lad with the popped tyre back from the day we first met.
