So I followed these three new people I just met. One of them being friendly, one of them was like a quiet, nocturnal, fox and the visor dude was basically just goofy. To me of course, I have no idea how other people would see him. Anyway, we all walked through the silent, ebony night. Amongst the stars that were like a million different people there. My multi verse theory was proven true and if it is in fact true... All those stars in the sky are home to a billion different little beings. Or even more.
We then stopped walking when we reached a huge metal fortress of some sorts. There was a strange platform on the floor like a ramp that lead into the interior of it. There were even lights and massive turbines on either side of it, shouting out full gales of wind like a restless screaming creature.
"This is a galactic voyage ship, it's technology is almost identical to that of Terra because Terra has the most effective and simple forms of tech" As Ako explained this to me, my eyes widened for a moment. Terra?
I quickly realised this and made my expression a little less awestruck. "I'm quite familiar with said tech because one, I'm a software engineering student and two, I was an inhabitant of Terra" I announced blankly."Ohh, so you're an elemental, right?" He asked me. "Yeah, I am"
"If you are then what element do you have?" Kor asked me eagerly, as if he were a child. I scoffed in return and then murmured: "If I tell you, I'm risking my life" The two, Ako and Kor looked at me with a raised eyebrow. Ice? He just looked at me intently, as if trying to decode my demeanour. Bitch, it's simple, I'm trying to keep myself safe. "Fine, I'll tell you, but don't mention it too often" I grumbled back then, I took a deep breath. "Rage-"
Their eyes went wide with shock, even Ice seemed to be amused; he was giving me some sort of weird posture of acknowledgement. "That's so cool! Oh, and what's your name by the way? Totally almost forgot-" Kor exclaimed.
"You can call me NextGen or Gen. I don't mind either" I answered back, rather calm with them now. "Alright then, let's get on the ship- we'll give Gen a tour and we can restock on some supplies on the next planet" Ako abruptly announced out loud as the three then entered said ship; I followed them inside. When I did, I heard the ramp close in behind me and slide back into the ship. The sound was a loud buzzing and shuffling sound mixed together followed by a loud clanking noise at the end. The lights before me flickered on and what I heard next was the muffled sound of the shouting turbines. "You guys made this place soundproof?" I asked in amusement.
Funnily enough, no one replied back as well. Good thing this place is soundproof. I thought to myself while walking down what seemed to be a hallway before me which was dimly lit by many small strips of light at the ceiling. Along the walls were many different sliding metal doors with yellow small screens on their right top corners. Which meant these rooms needed a key card. Ako then appeared before me, a rather welcoming smile on his face as well.
"Welcome aboard NextGen, since your from Terra and you told us you know all about the tech here I'm sure you'll understand what's what" He announced abruptly in the silence. I nodded in approval to the statement before replying with: "You might wanna show me around though, the layout is kinda confusing"
He chuckled to my request. "It's alright man, every dorm here is like a whole house in one so you can pick one of the vacant ones and everything will be there; the pilot control room is way up ahead and the elevator behind ya takes you to comms, there's also a few other recreational places on here and that's all-" He advised.
That was good because I didn't like to speak to anyone that much; having my own place was like an expensive pearl to me."So this ship is a rare one; that one Blacklite Pioneer V6, right?" I inquired.
"Yeah, we don't know much about that dang military company other than the fact that they're an arrogant bunch. So I stole this ship from them as a little 'fuck you' to their faces" Ako chimed.
Yeah, they're not a good military company, especially with the way their using monster humans and experimenting with illegal forms of magic...
"Alright then, I'll look around and soon enough I'll see what I can do-" I ended before I soon signed up to the ship system and got my own room.
