As they began to advance their way towards me, I took my face mask out of my pocket and wrapped its straps around my ears. So my face was covered.
Why did I have a face mask you may ask? Well, it's simply because I'm paranoid someone may find me, torture me, use me. In the most worst way possible..

I never trusted anyone, let alone mindless creatures like these I was mauling away. I used my speed spell to quickly ricochet off the walls, splitting anything in two that crossed my path. Eventually, the walls were splattered with a dark, purple sludge, looking like an uncomfortably large muse. It was horrifying to look at because I didn't know what it was until it processed into my mind: this was just a weird form of their blood. So I then made my way to the windows of that corridor and kicked it till it shattered. Then, I jumped down.

Now, I'm not committing any attempt of suicide here; no. This is just a quicker way to leave buildings for me. Why? Well, since I'm half cat, I won't take any fall damage. This is because I have a reflex that allows me to land perfectly on the floor. Sure, it does hurt to fall from so high up but I can endure a short bit of pain.
Besides, elemental humans can take quite a bit of damage till they're broken entirely so we're stronger than the average human.

When I got down, I saw many, many more of those things waiting either for their demise or to consume me for their own good. I wasn't about to let the second option occur because I genuinely can't be asked to get injured. So I used the same spell, ricocheting off my foes one by one in one quick motion. When I saw a writhing horde of them running headfirst towards me, I put both my hands in front of me; my hands were open wide with my fingers spread out. One of them had an inch left to graze my palm so I then ejected some of my magic. "Rage Style: Full Burst" I saw an explosion take place before me and when the smoke and dust subsided, I saw nothing but empty carcasses of what was once a thousand hideous creatures. The city then fell into a ethereal silence.

A peaceful silence.

I looked up to the stars in that moment where the night sky had its natural lights on. It was like a poem made from light, crafted to perfection. I want it. I thought to myself.

I want to go travel alongside those stars; to try to find a place that can at least give me inner peace.

"Nice work with that fodder right there man-" I heard someone say. I turned around and I saw a man who's head was basically normal but the rest of his body was a technical mess of metal and lights and wires. It was amazing to look at but also quite unusual. His face had a patchy beard, many scars and dark brown eyes. He even had a ponytail behind his head I could see from where I was stood.

Then, next to him I saw a person wearing a full black suit. There was nothing different other than that other than the fact that this person's face was covered by an ebony mask with two circular lights as eyes glowing in a golden yellow. The tie of their suit was also a vibrant yellow.

The last person there I saw was a man who had a similar look to the first though this time, I could barley make his face out with that huge visor of his covering his face. Beneath the visor was a high end kinetic exo suit which is basically a type of combat military armour on earth. He also had a cape wrapped around him too, its colour being a tainted greenish blue.

"Who the hell are you guys?" I asked far too blatantly for it sound angry. My voice was just so blank these days...

It almost felt numbing to hear.

"Well, I'm Ako- the guy with the yellow tie is Ice and the dude with the cape is Kor. So yeah" The man with the cybernetic body replied with a calmer voice than I could ever hope to muster. "And what's your damn business with me?" I answered a bit more firmly in an attempt to drive them away. Why do I keep pushing others away from me? Am I really that rude? That deep into paranoia; hatred for the world? Why am I taking it out on other people? I should-

"You alright?" Kor asked me, his voice muffled through the visor. "Y-yeah, sorry" I replied a bit more quieter now. The three looked down at what I'd done, Ice though was eerily quiet so I looked at them. Inspecting their hands for any signs of weaponry, attempt at murder or even-

"Ice just doesn't tend to speak a whole lot. He's a pretty chill guy though" So he's a guy! "What's the point of you three butting into my life?" I inquired now, yet again sounding pissed off. "Oh, we just noticed how you're also getting tracked down by these Pure Dark Fodder. They're actually made from Akuma's energy." Ako explained. I was killing his henchmen basically.

"And no, not henchmen exactly, they're people he killed and he manifested their bodies into a dark, mindless pool of... I don't even know. He just injects dark essence into dead people I guess." He continued. Damn, so basically zombies. "With that logic, can't you just call them zombies?" I questioned. "Yeah, pretty much" Ako agreed.

"And since you are being chased by Akuma, like us, we just thought you might wanna join us galactic travellers- we're trying to mend ourselves too- in different ways though" He added. I thought about this for a good few moments. Maybe I could get these guys to help me kill that idiot. "I want to kill Akuma..." I replied. When I said such a thing, they all gave me a look of frozen shock. As if I had just said something far too impossible to be accomplished. But I was determined.

"He destroyed my planet, and probably killed the only person who actually loved me" I added, just to make the argument seem justifiable. "That sounds kinda hard, but you could give it a shot-" Ako replied calmly.

At last, I gave my hand out in an attempt to give Ako a handshake and he accepted. After the gesture, I awnsered with this:

"Yeah, I'll join you guys... I hate this place"
