When I woke up, I woke up in the ship, in my room but I'd be surrounded by the whole crew. "You...y-you alright?" Kor asked hesitantly for a moment. While my sight adjusted...

All three of their faces, Ako, Kor and Ice. "Yeah...its...just my head though" I murmured far too weakly for my liking. Ako chuckled in response. "Well, he did only hit your head; thank goodness it also didn't get past your skull...oh and also. What's with you bein' half a cat?"

I suddenly jolted up from my place and bolted to the corner of the room. How the hell do they know I'm half cat?! Am I gonna be safe? Am I gonna die?

Ice was sat on a chair in the middle of the room staring at me with a rather confused posture. Like he was alert on something too, Kor stared at me with his head tilted and Ako simply approached me. Slowly but surely...

"We...we knew after you got injured man, I mean it adds up right?"

I thought for a moment. "Yeah, kinda does. But. You three are not to say a word about this!" I exclaimed in a hushed tone. "Ice doesn't really talk anyway so I guess that's one less person to worry yourself about kid!" Kor reassured me by putting his hands behind his head and kicking back. "But you also gotta be careful y'know? Demi Elementals are tracked down a lot these days for their power, chimera and rare elements" He added on.

"Yeah I know. BlackLites been chasing me for so darn long now I don't know when it'll end; two years" I replied in a sigh of relief knowing now that this information won't be used against me. "Hah! Buddy, two years is nothing, I've been running from these hell hound traitors since I was five!" My eyes widened at Kors' words. Five years?!

Ako himself patted him on the back. "Yeah, ten years on the run here; happy to be alive man!" He chuckled. That's when my curiosity peaked. "Why do they even do this? What's the big idea?!" I asked, still hugging my legs but this time I let my ears twitch and my tail sway gently. They all seemed happy to see me feel slightly more comfortable now so they continued. "Well...its a bit of a long story but back on that planet called Earth where the humans live, they were in the middle of a civil war but then BlackLite was losing to one army named Raze so they all had to evacuate the remaining managers and ceo to keep the whole project running." Ako began.

"Dang...and Kor mentioned 'traitors' before what's that about?"

"Rumour has it, these guys work under an inhumane force that could wipe off the galaxy which is why they experiment on people like us. Well they experiment but it could be something more! Who knows?!" He added on.

I was completely shocked by this new information. My vast process of thought then had these new questions flood into my mind like a relentless, raging and forceful ocean current wash over me. I had to take a moment to process everything...

Working under people who could wipe out the galaxy? That sounds scary...really scary...

And that's when it hit me like a ton of bricks. "Wait a sec!!" I suddenly exclaimed in the middle of a conversation between the two. "Do you guys know Akuma?"

"You mean the guy who wrecked Terra to shreds?" Kor asked back. "Yeah! Does he lead some of them Blacklite soldiers?" I inquired so eagerly in response. "Uhm...not really sure, we might have to infiltrate a ship for that intel" He explained nonchalantly.

But Ako would have other plans as he tapped the glass window as if he saw something great happen, but it was a hint of sarcasm to it. "And would you look at that?! You jinxed it again Kor!! These damn lunatics happened to be close!" All of us stormed to the same window he was looking out of but he grabbed us by the shoulder and pulled us back. "Woah! Woah! Dude! I didn't say rush the poor window, what did it do to you?"

"Man, shut up! I just don't want our fleet getting absolutely demolished." I grumbled before Kor came in and reassured us all by stating: "Well, it's no biggie; this is a stolen Blacklite ship anyway so they'll think we're allies. While they come to quote on quote 'rescue' us, why don't we go and storm the ship in the meantime?" He suggested. Me and Ako looked at each other for a moment before nodding and Ice?

He just kinda told us in a motion that he'd stay here and be a decoy. "Well Ice, not sure about your skills in doing all the convincing but you better talk and stuff so you can actually get them to side with us" Ako would inform but my face contorted into disgust at his suggestion. "Eugh, I don't want any of those maggots here."

"Alright, alright, enough talk!! They've actually noticed us!! So get your weapons and equipment ready now!!" Kor exclaimed in an invasive tone as he had his sight through the same window, his watchful gaze upon the big ship that was approaching us seemed rather too serious than normal. I on the other hand took that Dawn sword and seathed it behind me with a grappling hook and a pistol I loaded with pure chimera rounds of two hundred degrees celsius.

Now, we'd be ready foe an infiltration...
