It was almost 5 by the time I finished showering and cleaned my room. My phone was still playing music, PrettyHeartbreak, as I sat on my bed.

I looked through the four dresses that were bought. I decided on one and slipped it on, pairing it with black heels.

It was fairly pretty, but definitely not my style.

I worked on my makeup, making sure it was a lot better than I usually do. I brushed my hair and styled my bangs, before there was a knock at my door.

Colby emerged, not even bothering waiting for me to let him in. He looked over me and gave an approving hum.

"You about ready?" He asked as I finished my lipstick.

"I'm done." I looked over to see Colby in a black dress shirt and jeans. His rings littered his fingers and I could stop a tattoo peaking out of his rolled up sleeve.

"Alright, let me slip some shoes on and we can head out. Are you more comfortable with wine or champagne?"

"Wine preferably but either is fine."

"Kay, I'll text Sam and let him know to get wine."

Colby walked out closing the door. Why was he being so nice? I shook my head and ignored it as I packed up my makeup.

I walked out of my room and headed downstairs to find Colby waiting by the door on his phone.

"I texted Sam that we were on our way." He grabbed his keys and headed out the door.

I followed, getting in his car. He handed me the AUX cord before starting the car.

"What's this for?" I asked waving the cord around.

"It's an AUX cord. You plug i-"

"I know what it is but why did you give me it?"

"To play more PrettyHeartbreak?"

I cocked my head to the side before plugging it in my phone. You know for a cocky business man, he seems more emo than I am.

After a while we made it to a restaurant, the secluded type. Colby opened my door again before resting his arm around my waist as he led me inside.

I kept my head down, not bothering to pay attention to the surrounding people.

"Millie?" I looked up as someone spoke my name.

"Kat?" I replied recognizing the blue haired girl.

Kat was my best friend growing up. We lost touch after she moved to L.A and I thought I'd never see her again. But here she was, looking absolutely stunning in her black and blue dress.

"You know her?" Colby muttered to me.

"She was my best friend growing up." I smiled, extending my arms as she ran up to me.
