Smut and then battle.
This chapter also contains a bit of soft Klance, hardcore pining Lance, Smut, and Keith being a bit of a reckless but loyal and protective little terrier :P

"You fight like a Galra!" Zarkon sneered.
"He is half human." Lotor snapped. "But he is stronger than you!"
"He is half Galra." Shiro cut in, disgusted. He walked over to Zarkon who didn't move to attack. Then he turned to face Keith and Lotor, his metal arm raised and glowing.
He transformed it into a blade.
He was going to attack Keith and Lotor!
**********
Keith woke up with a jerk.
There was a soft beeping from his communication device, groaning, Keith pulled it close to his face to read the incoming message before he lunged off the bed and sprinted barefooted to his old room where Lotor had been sleeping for almost an entire day cycle.
A lot happened since Keith had returned to the castle.
After his fight with Shiro, he managed to wrangle a manic Lotor into bed. There was barely any time to rest after that because of the arrival of Pidge and Matt. They spent hours hugging, crying, and catching up with the older Holt. Keith couldn't believe how much Matt had changed, but he was incredibly happy to know that he was alive and well and had not been tortured by the Galra. Shiro even came in to give Matt an awkward welcome hug. Judging by Matt's expression, Pidge must have told him all about Shiro's behavior lately, but he managed to cover it up by flirting with the princess. To Keith's surprise, Lance didn't seem bothered by this. In fact, he didn't seem to even notice choosing instead to hover around Keith and offer help.
Pidge was bursting with energy, showing Matt around the castle, bouncing around like a rubber ball with the biggest grin that seemed permanently plastered on their face. The only time their smile dropped was when the topic shifted to their father who was still missing.
At some point after their capture, Matt and Sam Holt had been separated and he had no clue where Sam was now. But since he had found Pidge, he has renewed hope to find his father soon. After all, Sam was an incredibly intelligent man.
It was all in all an emotion-fuelled day. By the end, they were all exhausted. and went back to their own rooms for a nap except for Keith whose room was currently occupied, so he curled up with his wolf on the paladin couch.
"I'm not one for pets usually, but he seems incredible," Pidge noted as the wolf suddenly appeared in the room with a flash. Keith grinned like a proud papa.
"Yeah, he is," Keith replied, scratching the wolf behind its ears.
"So, what did you name him?"
"I didn't name him. He will tell me his name when he is ready."
Keith didn't notice Pidge, Lance, and Hunk exchange smirks, Lance was trying especially hard not to laugh and Hunk coughed out the word 'adorable'
Pidge opened their mouth to point out the logic of his statement when Lance interrupted.
"I vote 'Kosmo' with a K obviously."
"What no! I told you-"
"I like Blaze. Because of his glowing blue fur," Pidge offered.
