Erin was walking towards the district, when shots were heard.

"5021 Lincoln: I got shots fired at 2900 Washington and Kedzie, roll me some cars." Erin ordered.

As Erin walked towards the house, she saw a little girl running out.

"Hey! Hey!" Erin shouted.

Erin rushed over, and put her gun in her pocket.

"Hey, My Name's Erin. I'm a police officer. What's your name?" Erin asked.

Charlotte said her name, and broke out into sobs.

"Hey, come here." Erin cooed.

Charlotte fell into Erin's arms, and cuddled into her.

"Your okay, I got you." Erin soothed.

Erin rushed away, and walked to the Ambulance.

"Hey. This is Charlotte, she was found outside the house, she didn't say anything other than her name..." Erin explained.

Brett nodded, and tried taking Charlotte from Erin.

"No!" Charlotte babbled.

Erin gently bounced Charlotte in her arms, and sat on the stretcher.

"What if I come with you?" Erin suggested.

Charlotte nodded, and lied her head on Erin's chest.

The door slammed shut, and Erin held Charlotte close.

Soon. Charlotte was getting checked out by Will.

"Well. Your looking okay, Munchkin." Will smiled.

Charlotte giggled, and hugged Will.

"Aww...." Will awed.

Charlotte gave Charlotte a popsicle, and left the room.

"So, I've checked Charlotte out, and she appears to be unharmed." Will responded.

Erin nodded, and walked into the room.

"Hi Baby." Erin smiled softly.

Charlotte looked up, and ran her little legs over.

"Aww, Hey." Erin whispered.

Charlotte wrapped her little legs around Erin's waist, and closed her eyes.

"Let's see what book we can read?" Erin decided.

Charlotte grabbed Erin's hand, and walked towards the bed.

After a few hours. Erin and Jay were at home. So was Charlotte.

"You okay?" Erin asked.

Charlotte nodded, and sat on Jay's tummy.

"Hey! I'm not a trampoline!" Jay groaned.

Charlotte let out a small giggle, and rolled around.

"Okay! Time for bed. Missy!" Jay giggled.

Charlotte lied on the bed, and pulled her duvet up.

"Night. Little Duckling." Erin smiled.

"I'm not a ducky!" Charlotte babbled.

Erin rubbed her nose against Charlotte's, and kissed her head.

Soon. After saying night to Charlotte, they went to bed.
