Erin and Jay were walking down the street, when Jay saw his mom get attacked.

"Mom....?" Jay whispered.

Jay rushed over, and radioed it in.

"5021 George: I need backup on the corner of Wabash. Female down from a beating." Jay radioed.

Jay ran over, and put his gun on the suspect's head.

"Let go of the lady. And you won't get hurt." Jay whispered.

The suspect raised his hands, and Jay spoke.

"On your knees. Hands on your head." Jay ordered.

The suspect did as instructed, and Jay cuffed him.

"Take him to the 21st. Get him booked." Erin ordered.

Roman nodded, and walked Liam to the patrol car.

Once Liam was gone. Jay helped his mom up.

"What are you doing?" Jay asked.

Rose pushed Jay's hands away, and spoke.

"Let go of me!" Rose ordered.

Jay stepped back, and sighed.

"Mom, don't do this...." Jay spoke softly.

Rose came up to Jay, and spoke.

"I'm not your mother. As far as I'm concerned? Your nothing to me." Rose snapped.

Rose pushed past Jay, and left.

After Rose was gone. Jay teared up.

"Jay? You okay?" Erin asked.

Jay nodded, and walked away.

"Jay. Your bound to be hurting, let me help you?" Erin pleaded.

Jay shook his head, and walked to his truck.

"Dammit!" Erin whispered.

Erin walked to her GMC, and drove to the apartment.

Soon. Jay was at the apartment, leaning on the balcony.

The door clicked open, and Erin walked in.

Jay looked behind him, and realised it was Erin.

Jay looked back at the balcony, and felt Erin's presence.

Erin placed her hands around Jay's stomach, doing a soft massage.

"It's alright, I know your hurting, you can breakdown to me." Erin soothed.

Jay closed his eyes, and turned to face Erin.

"That's the thing, I don't wanna breakdown to you. I was trained not to let anything hurt me, and I'm not s-starting now..." Jay's voice cracked.

Erin wiped the pooling tears away from Jay's eyes, and brought him into her arms.

"Erin-." Jay sighed.

Erin sighed, and spoke.

"Spare me a minute? Let me hold you." Erin whispered.

Jay leant his head on Erin's shoulder, and got choked up.

"Hey, Hey, It's okay, I got you, baby, I got you." Erin comforted.

Jay broke the leash, and full on sobbed into Erin's arms.

"Your gonna be okay, you've been through a lot. Abby dying. Your mom verbally attacking you. There's a time to hold on, and a time to let go. Now's the time to let go, your allowed to have feelings, we're no longer in the field, It's me and you, in our safe apartment." Erin reassured.

Jay sniffled, and broke away.

"You look beat. Why don't we go settle into bed? And cuddle?" Erin suggested.

Jay laughed softly, and nodded.

"Great! Let's move!" Erin smiled.

Erin and Jay walked upstairs, and got into their bedroom.

After a few moments. Jay was asleep on Erin's lap, after falling asleep to Erin's massage on his head.

Erin closed her eyes, and fell asleep.
