~Seven~

Will was walking Kohl. Down the street, when a patrol car drove up.

Anna and Sean got out of the car, and spoke.

"Are you Will Halstead?" Anna took the lead.

Will looked at the two officers, and spoke.

"I'm Will Halstead. What's the problem?" Will asked.

Anna looked at the Will, and Sean took over.

"Will Halstead. you are under arrest for the murder of Patrick Halstead. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you do say, will be held against you in a court of law. Your welcome to an attorney, if you do not have one. One will be appointed to you. Do you understand?" Sean asked.

Will nodded, and got cuffed.

"Animal control will take care of your dog." Anna reassured.

Will got into a car, and the door slammed shut.

The car drove off, and arrived at the 22nd District.

"This is Will Halstead." Anna introduced.

Ruben nodded, and booked him in.

At the district. Hank walked out.

"Jay. Will's been arrested. He's at the 22nd." Hank replied.

Jay Jumped up, and grabbed his Jacket.

"Anyone called Natalie?" Kim asked.

"I'll do it!" Jay replied.

The unit nodded, and Jay rushed downstairs.

As Jay drove. He dialled Natalie.

"Hey, Jay!" Natalie spoke.

"Yeah, Listen. Will's been arrested." Jay started.

Natalie walked into the breakroom, and spoke.

"Arrested? Why?" Natalie asked.

"I don't know? I'm on my way to the 22nd. Meet me there." Jay ordered.

"On My Way!" Natalie rushed out.

Jay hung up, and parked at the district.

Once Natalie hanged up. She grabbed her stuff, and rushed out of Med.

Soon. Natalie parked in the 22nd District, and got out of the car.

Natalie and Jay walked into the district, and spoke.

"Hi. I'm looking for Will Halstead? I'm his wife." Natalie responded.

Ruben nodded, and checked the list.

"He's in holding. Room 4." Ruben replied.

Natalie and Jay nodded, and followed the officer.

After a few minutes. Natalie and Jay were in Will's room.

"What are you doing here?" Will asked.

Natalie sat on the chair, and spoke.

"Could ask you the same question." Nat smirked.

Will sighed, and leant against the wall.

"Well. I'm stuck in a cell. My sentencing is tomorrow, so hopefully they'll go easy on me." Will explained.

Jay nodded, and sat next to Will.

"Will. You can't take the fall for something I did..." Jay shook his head.

Natalie looked at Jay, and spoke.

"What do you mean? You killed Pat?" Natalie asked.

Will shook his head, and spoke.

"No! Jay, I'm your older brother. It's my priority to keep you safe. So, that's what I'm doing." Will looked directly at Jay.

Jay sighed, and leant against the wall.

The door opened, and it was Ruben.

"I'm sorry. We need to take Will to his Jailcell." Anna explained.

Natalie and Jay nodded, and stepped back.

"Listen. The unit. Us. I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure you come home, and you spend the rest of your life. With your wife, and Owen." Jay promised.

Will nodded, and walked with the officers.

Once Will left. Jay turned to Natalie.

"Don't worry! We'll get Will out. You can trust me." Jay promised.

Natalie nodded, and walked out of the room.

Soon. Jay was back home with Erin and Charlotte. 

"Hey, how'd it go?" Erin asked.

Jay shook his head, and broke out into sobs.

"Oh Baby." Erin whispered.

Erin turned the stove off, and spoke.

"Char. Go upstairs, and play in your room." Erin instructed.

Charlotte nodded, and toddled her little body upstairs.

Once Charlotte was out of sight. Erin held Jay in her arms.

"Hey. Hank's gonna do everything he can to get Will out of Jail, I promise." Erin promised.

Jay nodded, and lied his head on her chest.

Erin and Jay were soon in bed, and were fast asleep.
