Lexie explained everything to her friends, they were sitting on a meeting room and Armin had somehow found some tea for her. She felt cold, extremely cold. Outside the HQ, the Rumbling kept happening, the earth was still shaking, and it was hard for her to not start crying again.

"So, even if you tell them to stop, they won't listen?" Connie asked her.

"No, they only listen to Ymir now." Lexie said sadly.

"Aren't you Ymir's reincarnation? You got her out from Eren's grasp." Connie argued.

"Ymir isn't being controlled by anyone for the first time in 2,000 years. She was used and locked and abused and never had free will, she's just... angry... at everyone." Lexie explained.

"We didn't do that to her." Connie continued. "Why do we have to pay for the problems of the past?"

"I've been asking myself that same question since we found out about Marley's treatment to Eldian people." Lexie said. "Ymir cares about her subjects, that's why she's avenging them too."

"Are you sympathizing with her now?" Connie was furious.

"No, I'm just...." Lexie tried to defend herself. She sighed and put a hand on her head "It's hard, ok? She's... still in me somehow. I can... feel her. The only way I was able to get control back was by turning human again, but she had already given the order to start the Rumbling."

"So, we can assume that Ymir can take control when you transform into a titan." Armin guessed. Lexie nodded. "How was Ymir locked the last time?"

Lexie's eyes widened, she hadn't thought about that before. So, she closed her eyes and tried hard to remember.

Ymir had been betrayed. She had given power to the Nine Titans to help the Eldians, but, after she raged too much at defending her people, the King ordered the Nine to trap her, they joined their hands and trapped her in the coordinate.

"The Nine." She said. "With the power of the Nine Titans, they can help stop it all."

"Well, good luck on that." Jean said sarcastically. "There's no way those are working together. And Annie is still crystalized."

"Annie is free." Lexie said, surprising everyone, even herself. "When I... Ymir... we undid the walls, Annie's crystal came off too."

"Ok. Say that by some miracle we gather the Nine Titans, what's next? You eat them?" Connie asked.

"No, I just need them all to be in contact with me in their titan forms. I have to be a titan too, and then, we can face Ymir together." Lexie said. "That might mean they all have to fight me. And we also have to be in range with at least one of the titans of the walls, if we stop one, the others will follow." Lexie explained.

"The issue still stands. The only titan shifter we can trust is Armin. The others will kick us to the curve." Jean said. "And, I highly doubt Armin will fight you."

"Eren will help." Lexie said very sure, causing Armin to look away, he had to admit he still felt a bit jealous of him.

"Really? He was the one who started all of this on the first place." Connie argued.

"Yes, but he wanted it to be him who was killed at the end, he still wanted to be stopped." Lexie said. "Do we have the girl who shot Sasha here?"

"Gabi. She's locked up with Reiner, the cart titan, the jaws titan and the other boy that was with her. They care about the children, they won't transform with them close." Jean answered.

"You are right there. If we can convince the children, the Marleyan shifters will also be convinced." Lexie said.

"And then there are Zeke and Annie." Armin thought out loud.
