The battle was difficult. The Jaegerists were too well trained, they had exploded Annie's head, Reiner's arms, Eren's face and Zeke's legs. Porco and Pieck were barely able to stay up. The elite scouts had to be the ones to save the titan shifters. They couldn't hesitate, if they did, they'd lose their comrades.

Mikasa was the quickest, sliding her blades down left and right. Jean, Connie and Armin were a bit more hesitant, but stepped right in when their friends were in danger. Hange, Magath and Armin were insistent on Lexie staying with the engineers. She was not happy, but she understood she could be a liability more than actual help.

As Lexie peeked out to the check on the fight, she was able to see Gabi and Falco hiding behind some walls, Gabi had a rifle and Falco a gun, they weren't supposed to out, though. Sge frowned in confusion and worry. She then noticed a jaegerist was about to shoot at them, no one else had noticed to she had to step up.

Lexie quickly went out of her hiding spot and kicked the jaegerist down, with another hard hit with t hilt of her blade, she knocked him out, she then turned to the children.

"We told you to stay put." She told them.

"We had to warn you, they asked for reinforcements." Falco explained.

"The train is already coming!" Gabi added.

"What?" Lexie exclaimed, she tried to look at the railroad, but she couldn't from that spot. She grabbed both children and brought them up in a roof where they were able to hide. They saw the railroad, of course a train was already on its way. "Shit." Lexie muttered and then turned to the battlefield, putting her hands around her mouth to scream at her comrades. "Their reinforcements are coming!" Lexie yelled as loud as she could, warning her comrades.

By yelling, however, she revealed her position, Floch was quick to look for her, he saw her and was about to shoot her, but he was shot down first. Lexie turned to Gabi in surprise since she had been who shot. Armin quickly came into the roof with them.

"You shouldn't have come out." Armin told her a bit annoyed and frustrated, but mostly worried.

"Be mad later, we have to do something about the train." Lexie said pointing at the railroad. But just as she did, the railroad exploded, stranding the reinforcements back. "Huh?" She frowned confused, had Levi managed to explode the railroad? But he was watching Yelena.

"I can't believe you were going to leave me behind!" The scouts looked up at the voice that rang.

"Sasha!" Connie was the one who called her name, a big smile spreading into his face.

After Sasha came another man, also in ODM gear.

"Commandant Shadis!" Armin was the one who recognized him first.

Sasha and the commandant were of big help, they had the energy the scouts were already missing.

"Do not give up, soldiers, devote your hearts!" Commandand Shadis yelled.

It was a touching moment for the scouts, after all, it had been the commandant who made soldiers out of each and every one of them. His words brought a new motivation. Armin turned to Lexie.

"Stay with the children, ok?" Armin asked pleadingly. Lexie nodded, giving him enough peace of mind to return to the battle.

It took a lot of effort, but at the end, the scouts finally took control of the port. As soon as the jeagerists were all either dead or detained, the engineers were rushed to work on the airplane, they originally said it'd take one day, but they were able to shorten the time to half a day. Meaning the scouts and titan shifters had enough time to rest a bit to recharge their energy.
